  1. You'll need some bigger wheels to get over the cookies on Razors. I have a ton of stuff taking up space in my basement from when my daughter was an infant, so if there's anything in particular you still need, let me know...
  2. Yeah I missed it by a week. Winter Park reported 21".
  3. That might actually be this one. It's near a bunch of hotels behind the 7-11/Dunkin Donuts. Dillon Dam Brewery in Silverthorne is pretty good too and has great happy hour specials.
  4. Baker's Brewery in Silverthorne has some great food also...and as the name suggests, they have a lot of baked goods and desserts. Their fried ice cream was pretty awesome.
  5. Belle is 8 hr round trip for me...so not quite my backyard. I have other hobbies, but with a name like Live2Ski I understand you want 2 ski as much as possible. My username was going to be PSUFlyFishSnowboardDrinkBeerAndPoop but it wouldn't fit. Anyway post pics if you go. I like pictures and reports
  6. I don't know much about partying in Breckenridge, but I can recommend some breweries in the area if you want. Copper has tickets for $ 85 all next week, I think you have to purchase online though.
  7. Well, since you asked us so nicely...the answer is no. I just got back from a nice few days in Colorado and am more than happy finishing my season with that trip. I guess I'm just not hardcore enough.
  8. Awesome, looking forward to your report. What mountains are you planning on going to?
  9. Yeah I don't keep track of stats either. Skiing/riding in PA is still fun for me though (although 2 days of cat skiing is going to be tough to beat, even though there was no fresh snow). I'm happy just to get out and do some runs, and if it sucks, there's always beer.
  10. Back to prison, i mean work today. I have a bunch of pics on my camera I'll upload in the next day or two and post them here. It was nice to hit some different mountains since I normally just do Steamboat. Copper had a ton of variety, and they had a lot of runs that were actually groomed nicely. Not that I mind the "western groomers" that aren't as smooth, but it was nice to switch it up a bit during the day. I'd like to spend more time at A-Basin and Loveland too. The stuff off lift 9 at Loveland was awesome, and would be really good on a sunnier day.
  11. I think I missed toast by about an hour. I'm in Chicago now. Toast, if you have time to kill, Root Down is a good restaurant with local beers, if you're in terminal C
  12. I'm heading home too just boarded. DEN isn't as scenic. I have a layover in Chicago, looks like some good lunch options there
  13. Yeah all the cat stuff is pretty steep but there are a few spots off lift 9 that are more mellow. There was one that was a steep chute/gully but no rocks to worry about...that was fun
  14. What I meant is that there was no actual line. Maybe 12 people there and got the first available cat
  15. Technically 0 minutes. We got there between snow cats so we waited 10 minutes. Well worth it and its free
  16. Did more cat skiing at loveland. Flat light and windy but the snow up top was pretty good. Also hiked some runs off lift 9.
  17. GSS, the bubble lift is new for this season. I was reading a magazine about the local ski areas and it mentioned that along with another lift that was upgraded. Stopped at Highside brewing in Frisco after Copper, which is also pretty new. It was decent, had a tropical milkshake IPA. Ate dinner at Bakers Brewery in Silverthorne...surf and turf tacos and a stout...fried ice cream for dessert. Going to Loveland in an hour or so. Forecast doesn't look great, high winds and chilly.
  18. It might be new, I'm not sure. Copper was awesome they had pretty much everything. Nice groomers, open bowls, glades and trees. Highlight of the day was definitely the run off the cat in mostly untouched snow.
  19. Caught a run on the cat in Copper bowl which was f'ing incredible. Snow softened up and was an awesome day.
  20. Got to copper around 10. This place is huge, I keep getting lost. Did some groomers, a few glades, and a long bump run that I ended up on by accident. Also rode the bubble lift which isn't really needed for today. Supposed to do some runs on the cat in a bit
  21. Heading to Copper in a bit. Today should be good, sunny out and no clouds for now. Yesterday was flat light most of the day. I was flying down one of the wide open runs in montezuma bowl and fell pretty hard hitting a bump I didn't see.
  22. Late dinner at a German place in Frisco. place is a total sausage fest
