  1. Yeah I was reading some old trip reports and seems like Brighton is a cool place, and I'm thinking probably less crowded than Snowbird on a powder day
  2. Ok - I can do sausage gravy unless anyone has another suggestion
  3. I can make sausage gravy or something, or pick up donuts. I'll bring plenty of beer, stuff for bloody Mary's, and solo cups
  4. Weather is looking promising for Utah next week. Doing Brighton Tuesday, forecast is 6 to 10" through Monday evening. Deciding on snowbird or snow basin for Friday
  5. I don't think it was confirmed that Sunday is the party, at least as of last weekend...I should be able to make it, but I thought @enjoralas was waiting to see if Blue announced a closing date
  6. Nice report. The breweries in Idaho springs are pretty good, not sure if you checked them out
  7. Greek is now up to 15" of snow possible. If I wasn't off next week I'd try to go Wednesday
  8. Accuweather is only showing around an inch for blue mountain but possibly more snow starting Sunday night. Greek Peak is 3-6 tonight and maybe another 3-6 starting Sunday...could be good there
  9. Sunday for me unless it looks like a good amount of snow for Saturday....then maybe I'll switch my plans around
  10. 23/24 indy pass is now available for returning passholders, just renewed mine
  11. 19th is good...I fly out to utah the next day so I wont party too hard
  12. More runs on boomer. White lightning is great too, bumps but pretty soft.
  13. Lunch...short rib grilled cheese at Midland
  14. Pretty much the entire north face is ungroomed. Boomer and smoke are both bumped up...cannonball is looking rough but its soft snow at least. Rattler is ok, half assed groomed.
  15. Mountain fest is only Friday/Saturday so Sunday should be ok Let me know if you go. I'm planning on it as of right now, although I may only be there until 12 or so on Sunday
  16. Planning on montage Sunday but if not then I'll be at Blue
  17. Thanks, yeah planning on making the reservation the week before. Planning on 2 days at powder mountain, one at snowbird and one somewhere else
  18. Booked flights for Utah, flying out Monday evening 3/20, return flight is late Friday 3/24. Should get 4 full days in
  19. @Johnny Law, thanks for the info! Sounds like Utah is probably the best option. Washington sounds awesome but the things I was worried about was the snow quality and the driving. Not that I mind a lot of driving but in shitty weather, it's not enjoyable. I'm not set on doing beaver mountain as it's kinda out of the way unless it looks really good. I'll check out the other mountains too
  20. Thinking about an indy pass trip the end of the month. Either Utah (Powder mountain, Beaver mountain, maybe pay for a day at snow basin) or Washington (White Pass, Mission Ridge, probably pay for a day somewhere else). Any of you guys ski Washington before? @Johnny Law? Utah might be the easiest choice because its probably less driving once I get there but not really sure. Flights are about the same price to both destinations
  21. Been mostly freezing rain near Reading. We're not really expected to get much snow though
  22. I had an issue with the lace on mine shredding. Burton uses a lace as opposed to metal...seems really tough to thread the lace back through but hopefully it'll be easier for you to fix with wire (assuming that's what you have). I never fixed mine since the boots were older and not worth the effort
  23. Never Summer Harpoon...excited to try this out. I love my other Never Summer board, this is supposed to be a better all mountain board. I'll experiment with bindings hopefully this week.
  24. 18 runs at Camelback is a good day especially for a weekend. I've had some great weekdays there, weekends have been decent to really crowded
