  1. Finished off the day with a run down woolly bugger glades. Only rated a single black diamond but craziest glades of the day. They start off mild pitch but tight trees... But then... ends relatively flat and you can cut right or left to get to another trail (can probably keep going too) After that, I saw an untouched cut to one of the condos...not the one I'm staying in, but do I hit it anyway and walk back to the next trail? Back at the condo now, probably go to dinner in an hour or so
  2. Ok now its getting good. They dropped the ropes on Professor. Unfortunately spilled my beer on the unexpected drop
  3. Been snowing since like 11 so hopefully tomorrow will be even better. I'm pretty surprised at how nice the groomers were this morning. If visibility wasn't awful, it would have been even better
  4. Thai chicken pizza and a Boothbay ipa. The pizza is awesome
  5. Hopefully I'll at least get to check it out tomorrow That traverse and high line traverse are both closed. Cut through the glades and hit the lift line and one other trail. Gonna go get lunch and go back out.
  6. Intimidator glade. Much better snow, well spaced trees. Still not much open off kennebago lift, really hoping to hit Casablanca glade. You can also hike above treeline so may do that tomorrow
  7. Upper and lower Peachys Peril (I think). Getting choppy after 3 runs on it but still a lot of fun
  8. Glades and trails off the Kennebago lift are pretty much all closed. Hopefully they'll open later. Trail report says everything is open so maybe just delayed opening
  9. Pleasantly surprised with my first run. Groomer was smooth slightly frozen cord...ungroomed intermediate was kinda dense powder but fun
  10. The steps might be more challenging than the slopes today
  11. Not sure how conditions at Saddleback will be today. Super windy so some stuff may be slick, but trees should be great. Tomorrow should be good, supposed to be another few inches through tonight and tomorrow will be sunny and less windy Condo is pretty nice. Two extra beds upstairs if anyone wants to make the trip (doubt it but just putting it out there)
  12. Yeah lift tickets are cheap there. I tried getting the indy pass discount but since there was already a midweek special it wasn't valid
  13. Yeah Burke was awesome. I'm excited for Saddleback too. Everything is open and with another 10 or 12" of fresh snow it should be great
  14. Finished the day at Burke with a run down Cave man. Got to Saddleback around 4 30, at a brewery in Rangeley now for dinner. Saw some sort of large cat on my way here...bobcat or lynx I guess. Pretty cool but it ran away before I could get a picture
  15. Got about another hour until I gotta leave for Maine...couple more pics Upper Doug's drop. Part of this was untouched.
  16. Wilderness, sasquatch glade, some other trails (upper dipper, dipsy doodle or something)
  17. Dude you would love this place. So much stuff to jump off of...except I'm kind of a sissy. Did hit a few drops, one was a bit bigger than I thought and I ate it when I landed
  18. Power line and y knot glade. This place is awesome. If I wasn't set with saddleback I'd stay here, forecast tonight and tomorrow is 8 to 12"
  19. Yeah had to try the Juicilus, julius with fruit puree. Burke is incredible today. East bowl is one huge playground of drops, powder and bumps
  20. Forgot to mention...I picked up some beers from tree house to share with my favorite parking lot hooligans
  21. If anyone saw the indy pass video from 2 years ago ( I think), they skied and interviewed an older guy named Charlie, berkshire east local. I parked next to him yesterday and mentioned I recognized him from the video. Cool guy, probably thought I was a moron for saying he was famous
