Oops, I forgot to mention that. Off-peak passes will be valid all day!

Join us on Saturday, March 17 (St. Patty's Day!!) for a Customer Appreciation Day! We'll have music outside on the deck by the band Parrotbeach from 1-4pm, along with drinks and food specials. If conditions allow, we'll also be running NASTAR on Sunday morning from 9am-11am! For our valued Season Pass holders, we'll be opening the lifts an hour early at 7:30am! We're also inviting you to bring one guest for FREE! That's right, each season pass holder can present their pass at Guest Services to receive one FREE extended day lift ticket for a friend! NASTAR will also be free for season pass holders on Saturday morning! We're looking forward to a fun-filled day on the mountain and hope you'll be able to join us!

Yes, this would include all of our passholders, including off-peak!

Thanks for your suggestions. We are currently working on a season pass appreciation day that will take place on March 17 (St. Patty's Day). Some of the ideas we're working on include opening the lifts early for pass holders, free NASTAR racing, allowing each pass holder to "bring a buddy" for free and possibly a pass holder rail jam. You can expect some more definite plans to be announced by the end of the week.

We are really happy with the way our park maps are working to show you what is currently in the parks (along with photos and video), and we are currently in the process of updating the terrain park section to include a blog that Andy can update as he makes changes and also a page with information about entire park crew. It should be ready within a week or two at the most. Thanks for your input! Mary

The competition series is divided into age groups and an open division. In the open division, we are giving out prizes to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. In the other divisions, we are only promising prizes to the 1st place finisher (although for some comps we will have prizes for the top 3), and it won't be as good as what we'll be giving out for Open class. This will help keep things fair and keep the competitors with the highest skill levels from entering in the age group division.

This week's Big Air competition is also qualifier for the Jeep Terrain Park Challenge. The top 3 men and women in both skiing and snowboarding will be invited to compete at the regional event at Shawnee on 2/17.

Hi everyone, Here is all the info about the SHOWDOWN competition series. The first event, a Big Air competition, will take place this Thursday in the jump line of the snowtubing park. Divisions of Competition
-
The jump line in tubing will be open tommorrow, but while the MASS competition is taking place during the morning, it will be closed to the public. On Sunday our snowtubing park is opening, but we will still have the jump line in that area. In fact, the plan is to keep that jump line through the rest of the season as long as we have the snow!

The quad chair was open for a bit this afternoon, but we have since closed it. It will reopen tomorrow morning.

I'll make sure to get the release form online tomorrow so you can download and have it signed before the rail jam. Thanks, Mary -
Thanks to everyone who came out to the party on Friday night! I hope you had as much fun as we did! Also, the reason you were not able to throw your old equipment on the fire is because it wouldn't have been environmentally friendly. We had strict regulations about the fire, including the size, the time, and what we could and couldn't burn. We did burn skis, but they were "homemade" by our maintenance shop and didn't contain any chemicals that would be harmful. I hope that helps to clear things up. Mary
