fair enough. I did read those peer reviews. your thoughts on whether it was through ingestion (wet market) vs bite/scratch/skin?
-
Not sure what part of that is lol. No one truly knows. I'd like to ask, do you think it at least originated in China? And if so, Wuhan? If neither, where do you think it started?
-
along the same vein, i think it's funny that people who are so panicked about everything still order takeout with some gigantic trust in where it's coming from. I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone run a card with no gloves at a register (how many have they touched?). Ok, maybe they sanitized hands after, but probably not between the time they swiped the card and touched the terminal. It'd need like 4 sanitizations between one transaction (handing card, touching terminal, returning card, handing over goods. Then, they hand you a package / box / bag after touching the terminal, cards all day or cash register keys. Not to mention people are putting their trust in a number of people in the back who truly may or may not give a shit. It's just as risky as everything else but it's all totally cool and encouraged. I don't understand it. edit: ok not as risky as a packed bar but people are like 'oh wow how did i get this ive been so careful', you don't know if bob from the pizza shop was at the bar 3 days ago and isn't showing signs.

lets talk about people not being able to even dispose of gloves properly... ppl are assholes. i'm waiting for the day i see someone just throw that shit on the ground. 719
-
i'm going with 849 today* *the official total, not the graph since yesterday it was way off from their actual numbers
-
still waiting to see decision on bloomsburg fair. kept meaning to hit up berrigans over the last few years and now it's closed for good. fml.
-
imo very few if it means losing a business license or some other sanction. trying to lock down the public (no gatherings, parties, etc) on the other hand, i doubt they'd be able to control it now that people have gotten a taste of interaction again.

came across something rather interesting... the line graph on pa's site has 736 new cases for today. so i did my stuff with excel and it was showing 995 difference from yesterday. usually these numbers are identical to what is showing on the graph (so the excel doc should have totaled 736 for the day - the diff from today vs yesterday). so i had a old tab open with the page showing of the 'total' cases that it shows above the graph something like 90k (not the tab i use for the graph). Earlier today it read 90304. I refreshed and now it reads 91299 - a difference of 995. not sure if i'm interpreting wrong or what, but expect whatever number is shown on the line graph to be revised. if it is in fact 995, it's the highest new daily total since may 9. @RidgeRacer sorry, i was typing htis up as you replied.

up again.

#nofilter, water here is pretty good. nestle wanted to tap aquifers nearby and people stomped them out. went to basement and it's 1" pex running straight from where everything else comes from for the house. reservoir tank at 58psi, no clue if that's normal, oh well.
-
it's just the outdoor spigot that is crazy high output. everything else is normal (i'd like it to be faster tho). i'm not a plumber, so i don't really know why. edit: i just did a not so scientific test using what i consider to be a narrower than normal gauge of regular garden hose. filled up a gallon in 10sec. using the other/pocket hose was appx 25s / gal.
-
lmao at blueberry and yeah, true about the system itself. i don't know all of the exact specs aside from that outdoor spigot has way more output than anywhere else in the house. when i turned the water on it torrentially poured out of the side of the hose. i'm gonna strip the fabric from it and repurpose the rubber liner for drip irrigation in the garden.
-
by result, i meant the effect it would have on the well pump, pressure tank etc. i also did that math to visualize it in terms of filling a pool (about a fifth for a normal above ground).
-
If you've got one of those expandable hoses, make sure you keep an eye on it. I got extremely lucky on saturday. Was leaving for a relatives, forgot something in the house, then on my way back out of the house, remembered to shut off the water to the hose. ruptured about a half hr after i left. I'm not sure what 3GPM on a well system running for 6 hours would have resulted in...

i did the data for the last 5 days. i believe there are only 3 counties with an increase each day. Allegheny, Luzerne (minor) and Lycoming (minor). if anyone wants to look, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VoeV8LsFEMbLk4OcHPKj_TP0ksHPkYKveaKi8PgzRko/edit?usp=sharing

couldn't agree more, doesns't really mean anything. i was just curious what counties were the biggest offenders for the increase today. i meant charts like this don't really mean anything, not your opinion, which i agree with 100% i ran it from jun 30 and jul 1 and berks was 32 diff yesterday only 4 today

yeah but it's a pain in the ass to go through each county. i can use key commands but things like the scaling of the results doesn't help either. i'm workign on something now to get what i want, thanks tho
-
looks like allegheny with the biggest jump, 100+ from yesterday day (225 total). tried figuring out info for 'new' cases by county but the data sets given are a pain in the ass. most others look flat-ish. anyone have a graph or stats that list a 1 day diff by county?
-
lol just a wee bump. jk 700 was optimistic apparently i'm curious to see what counties are biggest factors.
