i could have sworn that they basically have a cooling system to get the water to a lower than pond temperature. maybe that has something to do with it. also weather went from 'Heavy Rain' to just 'Rain' on sat. so thats good... i guess

im surprised they're opening fri. i was expecting them to be doing snowmaking until it really wasn't possible anymore. looks like the window closes around 11. imo they should have just let it sit fri, mowed it down fri night. whatever, it's skiing though. maybe i'll head over fri night.

i really think they want to be last to close. even if that means having just vista open. temps aren't great next week for snowmaking, but the opportunity is there to squeak out one last wknd if they just patch up a run or two. are any other mtns still claiming they'll be open after this wknd?

done been sayin that. they'll blow snow early next week and close last in PA i hear about the paradise (maybe?) WROD where it was one person wide and hope for that to happen again since i wasn't around when it did also, is falls really this fucked or is it just the cams?
