  1. Just back from another quick session this morning. For some reason I thought it was cooler than yesterday so was quite a bit over dressed. As others have mentioned things are getting quite thin in places. Rode razors a few times, lazy and chute to lower main. Razors was real nice corn on the headwall and the bump line down skiers left after the headwall was very fun. Lazy had thin cover lollipops they don't lie. It is laughably thin through the mid-section and will be plenty rowdy in the best way this weekend (if it stays open). Chute continues to deliver the goods and lower main is holding up except for the crevasse and regular shit stains that have been there the past few days. See y'all in the morning.
  2. Was thinking it would be fun to have a personal lift to blues base... Unfortunately, in the current configuration it is about 0.3 miles to short. In the market for a longer haul rope.
  3. Could give Troy a call to see the price tag.
  4. Back from another quick sesh this morning. Rode from 9ish to 9:45 w/ Atomic. Others were in da house as well. Rode everything that was open and overall, it was a quite enjoyable corn harvest already this morning. Bottom of Razors was a bit firm. It will be interesting to see how the handle the precip coming tomorrow. My guess is either closed 100% or a 4pm closing. If open, see y'all in the AM.
  5. I'll be there.
  6. Just got back from a quick sesh and was on snow from 9:20 to 10. Rode pdiz, lazy twice and chute to lower main. Interesting mix of conditions from super soft in the sun and quite firm where shaded. Also, CS has officially taken its last breath. Should be interesting what happens over the next two days.
  7. I arrived a little around 9:35 after some morning meetings and ran until around 10:45. Nothing else to add really other than CS was interesting in that kinda terrible kinda fun way.
  8. you mean Tactical Timmy?
  9. I’m bringing chili.
  10. Hopefully those new liners are better for keeping the heel in proverbial pocket.
  11. Tonight and Sat and Sun regardless of weather.
  12. Maybe heading to camels back this evening…
  13. Anybody willing to throw out closing predictions yet?
  14. Surprised it wasn't a NJ ort NY plate...
  15. Was excited to get out for some Leap Year laps last night and rode from 6:45-8:45. I went with very low expectations given the precip and followed by low temps but was disappointed with conditions being 3.3 outta 10. ROTN was the spine skiers right on CS and lapped that a few times. Everything else was inconsistent and not fun. The trails with guns blowing were pumping out wet heavy garbage on lower elevation terrain. Saw lots of carnage from people hitting the freshly blown shit and stopping dead in their tracks (including myself). Was rippin' down lower Main and just before slow signs hit a patch of that wet heavy velcro snow and the skis slammed on the brakes but the rest of me didn't get the memo. Ended up ass over tea kettle and plowed a 30ft long trench with my helmet right through one of said slow signs. Oh well. Looking forward to some nice spring skiing.
  16. @RidgeRacer no pizza pics?
  17. Could not agree more.
  18. Looking out now and there is a light rain coming down...
  19. Hola. Sat sun (prob Fri evening and Mon evening)
  20. Just got back from a quick threefer after a day in the big city. Really nothing much to write home about after how great this weekend was. Ran lazy, switch and main. Everything pretty much the same. Some scraped slick spots with some nice stuff in between. Overall just nice to be outside for a bit.
  21. I'm seriously feeling the post Jackson Hole blues right now as I slump into my desk chair to stare at my computer for 8 hours and catch up on emails and work BS. After a few runs yesterday morning before heading to the airport, travel back was a breeze through ORD to PHL, and I rolled back into the kunk around midnight. After thinking about it the whole way home last night, I can say is that JH is a place that feels very different from anywhere else I have skied before. My two big takeaways are: The sheer consistency of the steepness across the mountain. I like the natural feel of the mountain. It is like skiing as Mother Nature designed it. My 4 days were the perfect intro and got a taste of everything there is to offer. Yea, the first day I was not feeling well and made a vomit deposit in the hobacks. On second day I felt like a weakling due to not eating at all the first day. Had some terrible vis days and some sun at times. A little sad about no pow other than an angry inch but oh well. Last run off the tram down a sunny Rendezvous bowl then ducking under the clouds to bottom before heading to the airport was a perfect way to wrap the trip up. Can not wait to get back. Thanks to the boys @GrilledSteezeSandwich @AtomicSkier @mute1080 @NMSKI for being fantastic guides and showing me around. Oh, and a word of advice... Never trust a fart...
