Tons of snow...by 10:30 it was in very bad shape...I'm not one for the park, but by the looks of it most of you guys would be disappointed by it. The staff that I encountered were very friendly (discounted ticket and binding fixed for free at the repair shop). Overall I had a good day...any day on the mountain is better than a day at work. I just felt for the drive I would have been better off at hunter, especially mid-week.

I was at Elk on Weds. and only paid 20 bucks...on the ticket is says "show this ticket and receive half off your next ticket." The woman at the window had an old ticket and gave my brother and I the discount...I was not as impressed with Elk as I was in earlier years. I don't think it is worth the drive.

And do you want your kid to root for a player that beats his wife, drives 100mph with a gun and an ounce of pot in the car, and tells his coach he isn't coming to practice because "it's ONLY practice"? It's amazing that these guys continue to get away with this kind of behavior...but what's more amazing is that kids still look up to them.

agreed...he's a professional athlete not a presidential candidate. And even if he's known for his love of sluts and booze he's still more respectable than 90% of NFL, NBA and MLB athletes.

any time my skis or boards delammed on the top I sent them back and received a new pair for free...It started in the early 90's with a pair of K2 gyrators. Two years in a row the tips delammed and I sent them back to receive a new pair just in time for the next season. More recently I had a problem two years in a row with a burton custom delamming around the bindings...they also sent me new boards.

I live 1/4 mile from the beach, since I can't afford a $2,000,000 house yet...here is today's surf report... Sea Isle City Report waves are 4ft. and semi clean. Ocean City Report 4-5ft. and semi clean. Margate Report 4-5ft. and semi clean. 4-5 ft waves have about an 8-9 face...pretty big and powerful by anyones standards.
