Thats what happens at places like BC...boredom gets you in trouble. When I was younger we skied a place called Split Rock...it's now been closed for 3 seasons and only has a 250 vert. drop. needless to say we were always in trouble.

how late did the actual season go last year...I can't remember.

The lodge is way better than the hill at BC...The hill itself may be enjoyable for some NASTAR people, but overall I think it is only slightly better than spring MT. for an all around skiing/boarding experience. Blue MT is worth the extra travel time when coming from the south.

The lodge is a nice place to hang around...I wish other lodges in PA were as nice. Your kid looks great in that pic.

Jeff, I looked at your picture and noticed you wear glasses under your goggles...is that irritating. Every time I tryed it or even wore contacts while boarding it bothers my eyes

fire up the night before, get a cheap room, hit the mountain early and fire back after the lifts close...this can be done for less than $100 per person.
