  1. They are both fine manufacturers, you can't blame him for standing by them.
  2. The latest vettes (02-05's) handle very well and the Z06 does 0-60 in 3.9 seconds
  3. Mad River Glen, VT does not allow snowboards either. Back in the 80's before most of you were born no one in PA allowed snowboards, except Split Rock. A small hill between JF and BB with about a 250 vert. and a tow rope. I think they have since closed.
  4. You can see Blue from your backyard?
  5. I know it's just a long range forecast, but check it out anyway. http://www.weather.com/activities/other/ot...PA0127&dayNum=9
  6. Any word on who is opening first this year JF or BB?
  7. It's atleast an hour north of killington. But well worth the ride if you plan on going on a weekend. Because its far north and the surrounding resort area isn't as built up it doesn't get close to as crowded. The mountain itself is very diverse and challenging. If you are a skier and plan to stay there for a couple of days try Mad River Glen just minutes away.
  8. Any bets on when the poconos will get their first measurable (3 inches or more) snowfall?
  9. It's about 3 hours from the Big Boulder area.
  10. No chance of killington opening this weekend?
  11. Blue traditionally opens first?
  12. Does anyone remember the last time a mountain in the Poconos opened in November?
  13. I was up there last weekend and some locals mentioned that killington was trying to open on the 23rd and would if they had four cold nights in a row.
  14. Killington may open on Sat. the 23rd. Night temps are below freezing all week.
  15. I read your post on the CB message board and discovered this forum. You are right it is better. Thanks
