I ordered the crossbars that attach to the roof rails from ASG Auto Sports. I'm happy with them and there is no wind noise. The same company, bright lines that made the crossbars make a ski/board rack also for kale the cost.
You're absolutely right ridge. I think we're heading up Thursday of teachers convention to go out to lunch, grab our passes and then head south to Bucks county to visit my in laws. Are you using utilizing the new exit?
Nothing, I just wanted to see if there was any difference or if one was better than another. Before Al Gore invented the Internet I just went to the one place that only carried Thule and bought them.
The only difference I see is price. Thule sells an adapter kit that mounts the carrier flush to the crossbar, but I think I could use that adapter on the Yakima. I like the look of flush mount better.
What's everyone using? Ever since I started driving in the early 90s I've always used the Thule 6 ski/4 snowboard carrier. I'm about to order a new carrier to attach to the crossbars and notice several other brands all at a better price than Thule. Are they all the same or is something special about Thule?
My last season there they were talking about not opening to the public for the following season. We already committed to JF so I'm not sure what ended up happening. It's a nice little hill and fun when it's 100% open. Problem I had was it took till MLK weekend to get fully open. Super cheap season pass but only open 3 days a week other than holidays.
