  1. To me Vermont is a good meet in the middle place. If my choice was one week in CO, one month in VT or the whole season in PA. I would pick VT for a month.
  2. When you put it like that I agree.
  3. Vermont of the west?
  4. Never thought of that. I used to have to bribe them with toys when they were younger. Now they don't want to leave.
  5. Pretty cool that they sent you that.
  6. Yes, even Spring MT. My brother used to live 10 minutes from there and it's the only hill under 2 hours from my house.
  7. Some of my best pa seasons were when I didn't have a season pass and skied a different hill every weekend from as far south as Spring to as far north as Greek peak.
  8. Jf is 5 min from 476. That shouldn't stop you from hitting elk.
  9. If we ever got enough down here I would GSS. We have pulled each other behind trucks before.
  10. It's one down here. 3 inches!
  11. Not really a bucket list, more like a retirement plan for me. In 14 years when I retire I plan to spend a month in the pokes, a month in VT and a month in CO every winter. Spend my spring AZ where I could squeeze a few day trips up north before the season ends and then summer and fall in OC.
  12. Lake harmony getting hit!
  13. Is that your raptor moe?
  14. From my past experience Jf will be great from 8-10 on Saturday, 8-11 on Sunday as most of the crowds will get a later start and Monday should be fine as most people won't ski 3 days in a row. Blue and CB not worth it unless u have a season pass in my opinion.
  15. My girls ride the lift alone or with their friends when they are 7. By then they have over 100 days on the hill with thousands of lift rides. I was parent of the year today with the kids out in the rain.
  16. Last season skiers left of exhibition was left bumped up.
  17. No need for slope side if you have a pass. Parking in lot 7 is always available. We got a late start today in hopes of it being warmer and still got a great spot.
  18. Last night and today was just too cold. If JFBB had a gondola it would have been better. The long ride up was miserable and my oldest bailed after 3 runs last night and today.
  19. Tomorrow looks cold, but fun.
  20. I did the 2 lift thing every time I've been there. It would be much nicer to just take one. High speed or not.
  21. Ain't no part like a Scranton party!!!
  22. The long haul runs once every 5 years.
  23. That's good to hear Philly. Most days I'm on the west side and see plenty of Blue coats, but never you. I usually park in lot 7 and cut through the woods. A few cars slipped off the access road and the road near my development.
  24. Snow switched to wet snow at 2 and then more of a freezing rain at 3. Roads were spicy on the 9 mile commute back to the house.
