And most of those 138 days were on skis behind a 3 or 4 year old. This is the first season since I have had children that I will get over 30 days in. Before kids I always got 50 plus days in. I will get back to that number soon. Now that the girls are getting older I can extend the rental and start taking a spring break ski trip also.

I skied for 20 years. I have boarded for the last 14. I only put on skis when I take my 3 year old out on the hill. I'm on my 3rd Burton Custom, my next board will probably be the same.

I don't see the need for multiple boards. I have had the same one for 10 years. This year I replaced bindings that were over ten years old and boots that were over 5 years old.

If you search the Split Rock, Lake Harmony or Albrightsville locations you will find tons of stuff. 5 min from Boulder, 10 from Frost, 20 from Blue, 30 from camel and 40 from Montage. Plus the area bars and restaurants are good and have a ski vacation vibe to them.

I have always liked CB. It's less crowded than blue and the 730-830 open for pass holders only thing is nice. I am having fun at Frost this year, but am already dreaming about switching to CB once my girls are older.

I had to get that taken care of today or we would have had to head home after skiing. The pump was replaced and all is good. I got out on the hill around 1, East Mountain was pretty empty, no lines. Thanks to JFSkiDan for offering to help me out. Very cool.

Got up here last night and no water in the house. Dropped my girls off at the hill and am dealing with this. I would have loved to have pulled in to the lot at 730. My girl Cecily Tynan is in the house again today.

i just left. they lost tons of snow. tomorrow should be horrible. i hope they can rebuild the base by next weekend.

My utilities are more than some peoples mortgages. I'm staring down the hallway at lights on in every room. Some months the air conditioning is on upstairs and the heat is on downstairs.

We lapped the east mountain from 8-11 today. I thought it was in great shape. Then spent the rest of the day on the west mountain also in great shape.

I would be miserable without a car in a ski town.

I just finished...It was 1 degree at 9 and 3 degrees at 12 when I left. Too cold for my girls, so I was solo. East Mt. was fun, closed trail had lots of snow on it,

I'm there every weekend morning at opening. We have been doing 2 shifts, since my 3 year old isn't feeling it. My 8 year old and I stay on the west mountain and make it over as far as the triple chair and leave around lunch. Then my wife and 6 year old head out. When I head out solo I will meet up with you guys. Maybe tomorrow if its raining I will be able to go out alone. I have been at eagle rock for the last 5. I have been regretting that decision lately.

Snow was great from 8-11. Crowds were low till about 1030. Place is packed now. Traffic coming out of there at 4 yesterday was crazy. I will be departing at 3 today. The whole Lake Harmony area is packed, most of the cars on the roads are racked with boards and skis.

I could see Bear closing until the 27th. BB and JF will be fine.

Best day of my season so far.

I have 3 kids and still keep up on the house. Always making things better for them. If I didn't i would still be living in a condo. I will admit that I don't do the work, but schedule it.

The traffic is horrible from mid county to quakertown exits. Does anybody know when the construction in that area is going to be complete.

It's doable if it has racks. They have a 3rd row.

This would be the year to do it. They struggle during warm winters.
