If JF closed I’d be done with the epic pass. I’m pretty certain this is our last season there. Not sure where we will end up next season. Blue, CB and Montage are all on the list.

Do you feel like the grooming isn’t as good this year? Today was my 2nd non holiday weekday morning and it doesn’t seem as flawless as previous seasons.

Would Vail ever sell off shitholes like JFBB? It really feels like they are running it into the ground.

Rain just turned over to snow, heading to the hill and then the bar.

One of the East mountain doubles started smoking around 1:30, they limped it to get all the people off and then shut it down.

No it is nice there. However the surrounding area not so much.

I think their last season open was 2002ish. I was hoping to teach my girls there. That’s how we ended up at Eagle Rock.

Nope, it was down for maintenance, then waiting on parts, now just done...

I’m surprised they were open, Sunday was really bad. They also didn’t groom before opening either day on the weekend. Quad is done for the season too.

I’m not sure if I’m proud to say that I’ve enjoyed all of his reports since day one around 2005.

Boulder lake is spring fed.

Floyd’s is not open. Crowds have been concentrated on the trails accessible from the double and triple lifts. Never a line on the east mountain lift yet this season. E2000 has been pretty quiet, they’ve been letting kids up there which is a first this time of the year.

I was told today that the reason BB is only half open is because of algae from the lake clogging the brand new snow making equipment. Also the quad is still not running...

Frost has been OK. The quad still isn’t running, so that’s been an inconvenience. However it’s keeping challenge empty with good conditions all day. From what I can see $0 in improvements have been made this season. I’ve been riding in the morning and drinking in the afternoon, so it’s all good.

Only to see family, I don’t think he’ll ever ski the pokes again...

Friday nights are still bad. Construction on 476 will probably go on forever.

I wasn’t bitching. I probably spend more than most being 3 hours away with a family of 5.

I disagree, I like being higher up on the highway and they get similar gas mileage to most full size SUVs. Plus throwing boards and skis in the bed is quick and easy.

Why did they give you printed passes?

Last weekend I ditched everybody and was solo at BB, this weekend I’m bringing my 14 year old to Hunter for the weekend. When they were younger our lives were more scheduled, now it’s a little better.
