I think they should start around the 15th and open around the 20th. The night time temps look good.

Rides great. I wanted to leave with my family from thanksgiving dinner in the Princeton area and head to the pokes. Ski fri and sat and head home sat night. If I go north it would be without the family. I don't care about cost. Spending money on fun is always worth it.

I only get up there on the rare occasion that they are getting snow and jfbb are getting rain. We drove up one time in the rain on a Saturday and they gave us half price tickets since it was raining up there also.

That's no good. I was hoping for 3 trails. I really want to be on the snow this month. I haven't done that in 9 years.

Me too. We cranked our pool heater all month, so I told myself I wasn't turning the heat on till November 1st. I didn't want a $500 gas bill for October. Living with 4 girls who love to whine, I decided to turn it on today. The ac has only been off for a week. Good thing I can print money in my garage. That's what my wife and daughters think.

Sounds good. If they have ten nights of temps in the 20s before Thanksgiving, which I think they will, they should have a handful of trails open.

I will have my family with me. So the Pokes it is. Leaving from the Princeton area after Thanksgiving dinner and heading up. I board when I'm solo or with my 8 year old who boards. My 5 and 3 year olds are still on skis, so when their with me I ski.

I'm skiing in the Pokes over Thanksgiving. Big Boulder will be open.

Blue does a really nice job with the Fall Festival. For a $5 wristband the kids can do tons of activities. The outside dining area at the summit was really good. We rode the lift up walked the half mile across the top of the mountain and had a decent lunch. Thanks to the people we met from Delaware who gave me a ride to the base so I could drive back up and grab my family. Ridge did you see us at the Summit? There was 10 of us. 4 adults and 6 kids ages 3-9.

We had our pool fired up to 95 last night. The outside temp was 45. The steam is still coming off it this morning. BB will be open by Halloween IMO.

We rent from 12/26-2/3, so that has pretty much been my season. Now that all of my girls will be on the snow, we don't need to bring along a nanny and my Dog passed away this summer so we can start earlier and take more last minute trips. I'm on facebook and I even got an Iphone.

Could happen...The last 5 years I had basically a 6 week season. I would love to get on the snow in the Pokes in Nov. and a few times in Dec. before XMAS.

20+ days at JFBB. I would like to get up to Pico with the family or somewhere in northern VT for a boys trip. If my brother moves out west I will get out there also. It's my first season with all of my girls on the snow.

One of these years...If Kragan moves out there it will be soon. This year all of my girls will be on the snow at JFBB. Probably have them up to vermont in the next couple of years and out west by 2016.

They sold the liquor license. it's about 10 minutes from CB, reminds me of BB a little bit.

It's in a weird spot. We looked at making it our home mountain for this season, but it was a long drive from Lake Harmony. I think most pocono day trippers would have little interest in it. Plus no bar and a really beat lodge.
