Thanks for pointing out the lifts...I think I would have a hard time getting a 3 and 6 year old on there if there is a divider in the middle.
-
My 3 year old does...it's mostly the crowds that concern me.

As most of you know I have been hanging at Eagle Rock for the last 5 years with my girls. Next season I will have an 8, 6 and 3 year old on the slopes. We are tired of Eagle Rock and would like to try something new for a couple of seasons before moving on to JFBB. Has anyone ever been to Alpine Mountain near CB? From what I have read it seems to be a great place for beginners with no crowds and wide open top to bottom greens and blues. I may investigate on president's weekend unless anyone on here thinks it's not worth it.

I think I'm going back to my old burton customs...

Earlier this week my bindings broke, so I switched to a pair of Flows that I have had in the box for 5 years. On the way to the mountain I stopped at 940 and had them repair my old bindings incase I didn't like the flows. Well I didn't like the flows. After sitting on my fat ass for the last 13 years to strap in I couldn't get used to standing up to get in to the flows. Getting my foot out also felt awkward. Making adjustments to them seems like a pain in the ass. Should I put my old bindings back on or give the Flows another chance?

Sweet deal...it seems like most other places only sell open to close tickets anymore. -

Is it always empty there?
-
It's bigger than JF but smaller than CB, the HSQ make it much better than JF IMO.
-
Is CB that much better? Coming from Lake Harmony I don't want to drive the extra 15 minutes, but if I was coming from the other direction I can't see driving past it for twice the price. I have often skied there first when they opened before JF or CB.
-
Why are season passes so cheap at Shawnee? $285 for an unlimited if you sign up with another person. Is CB that much better for double the price? Plus they are closer to the NJ/NYC people.

Eagle Rock with the girls. I usually hit JF or CB a handful of times. I'd like to do The Blue if I can get there midweek this year. -

Sweet...I'm heading up on the 26th and I want everything covered in white. It's going to be bad enough spending the week on 2 or 3 trails. -
They gross that on a busy day...I don't think they have ever profited that much in a single day.
