Has anyone ever been to this? It opens this weekend and runs every saturday till Halloween.

Weekend Warrior. Leave school Fridays at 2:45, pick up my girls and be heading north by 3:30. In the Pokes by 6:30 eating pizza from Bella Mias and drinking beers by the fire. Most weekend days will be spent at Eagle Rock. Hit BB, JF and CB a couple times. I'd like to get up to SNO again and maybe even Blue if it's during the week. A long weekend in VT is also in the plans.

I'm heading to the pokes next weekend since my school year was just postponed to Sept. 19th. Maybe take in some fall foliage.

Yep...being on the slopes makes them feel better.

10 sick, 5 family sick and 3 Vacation per year. 13 carry over if not used. Im always sick in Jan. and Feb.

You're right and most teacher pay scales are set up with 1st year teachers making half of what a 15th year teacher makes.

When I started it was over 5%. Now you're lucky to get 2.5%. But it's distributed so that some people end up getting under 1% and others get over 10%, depending on the step on the salary guide.

I thought the same thing, but insurance is paying for it. They better find money our contract is up and I need a raise.

Still renting...theres no rush. The market hasn't changed up there ever. We will probably do a year rental up there soon and see how often we use it, before buying. I guess. last year the levels were low enough and now there not.
