I'll come up again this season on a saturday to experience the whole mountain.

Was up there yesterday...first time in 10 years. The place is really fun. The longhaul wasn't running, so we had to double lift it to the top, then the top lift broke, so we just lapped the north face. I really hope the place can make, it would be a shame for such a great hill to go under.

Eagle rock both days

Nice...it's wierd being up there and not seeing everything covered in snow.

On my trek up tonight I did not see any cars with boards/skis on the roof. Usually I see atleast a dozen on 476. I know Eagle Rock will be empty tomorrow.

JF was pretty good today...was there from 9-12 with my 6 year old daughter. We had fun, but her feet were getting cold, so we split.

Well worth it even if you only hit 3 places...i'm on it.

I started my girls at 3 and bought them skis. Kids ski packages at shops are less than $300 including boots. I have been able to get 2 seasons out of them and then hand them down or sell them on Ebay and get back more than half of your money. I also saw the greatest progress when they ski several days in a row.

Never been...I get twentysomething days a year in the Pokes now with my girls now 6, 3 and 1. I have a long weeked booked to Jay this winter without the girls. As they get older I will get out more with or with out them. I agree with Johnny, you have to keep doing the things you love even if you cut back a little or before you know it 10 years will go by and you will never do it again. I just got in from a hour long ride on the quad with all 3 girls. I like bringing them and hopefully as they progress at skiing we will all be able to take trips out west every year by 2015 when they are 5, 7 and 10. It's a challenge to get them on the slopes 20 plus days a year living down here, but I did it three years in a row and were booked for year number four, starting the day after xmas.

That's not what dictates the amount of trips one can take...a wife and three kids on the other hand are like an anchor holding one back from fun guy trips.
