Looking back on the last 11 winters that we spent 12/26-2/18 in the pokes on weekends this has been the worst for snow conditions on and off the hill.

Has the long haul been running this season?

We were the group grilling at the top of the quad. I agree conditions today were not great by JF standards.

But you’re all there at 7-730. Part of the experience.

I’m waiting to see what Peak charges. If it’s over $2500 for our family I’m done with Peak. If it’s under than I’ll probably end up there again and snag some $299 passes to montage also. CB is an option if we can find a nice ski in/out. Blue is also an option and still stay in lake Harmony. I’ve even thought about doing the 730-1030 session at blue with you all and then grabbing my family in lake Harmony and hitting JF with them. Hopefully this time next week I’ll have a plan.

Peak will be $649 or more...fucking jerks!

I know, if I was going to do a 4 hour trip from OC I’d do hunter over whitetail. At that point we might as well keep driving and do mount snow.

For me peak buying those 3 new places was worthless. Hunter is closer and better.

Next try whitetail. That looks to be the best peak property in PA. Just so damn far.

I still don’t believe them. I’ll check it Saturday.

Most likely. It was a girl I teach with who owns a ski in/out there. Although the amount of money they are spending there, I wouldn’t be surprised.

Exactly. It’s seems made up to me too. It would cost a ton to do.

I have to admit the new hotel, water park, bottom and top lodges are pretty nice. I bet more than half of the people who stay there never get on a board or skis. I was told they plan on building a lift from the slopes to barley creek also, however I can’t find any proof of that.

The liberty season pass holders got away without having to buy the peak pass this season. I’m sure they’ll be thrilled when their pass prices double for next season.

I’ve been here a long time. Jeff was a kid in HS when I joined. Now he’s a grown ass man.

This week doesn’t look good. Conditions were good today at frost. Still lots of unopen trails.

It’s too early to worry about this season?

It’s great that you got them out there. Most guys in your situation would never get their kids into such pain in the ass activity to do with kids.

Blue has really stepped up their game the last few seasons with opening early and closing late. My crew is almost ready to convert.
