I like Blues opening date. 3 weeks from today. If they are open the 1st I'll be there. CB has a dissapointing opening date, but I expected that.

Mountain biking has to be one of the best ways to prepare for the upcomming season. Once it gets to cold to bike the mountains are open and you can jump right on you skis/board.

Taking your advice I checked out Sports Authority. I was surprised at their selection of snow gear. Lots of stuff from Burton and North Face. Everthing was pretty cheap also. They didn't have any high end boards though.

Don't worry about. Especially in your position, you work on the park staff of a ski resort in PA. There are people in politics and business who never apologize for comments made. At least you were defending the place that you work for. Your not going to upset anyone on this board by doing that.

What make/model car are you putting chains on?

I spent most of my life at JF and BB. Years ago I would get a season pass there and CB. BB is 5 minutes from my house so I would hit it on Friday nights when we first got up there or on Sunday mornings before we went home. Both places are fun, but if your not into the whole park thing places like Blue and CB are more appealing because of the longer trails and shorter lifts to the top.

By the time they start after you, your probably half way up the lift.
