Pretty sure keeping the lights on is a safety reason. My Camelback Patrol friend found a skier on a closing trail sweep. The guy was 40’ into the woods out cold. He didn’t remember how long or what happened. It took 2 hours to get him out. I can imagine waking up in the dark disoriented with a head injury. Also there’s a chance some unauthorized people could be earning turns .

There’s a ton of snow on Raisins , getting a little close to the quad .

Firm and fast edgeable most places but some scraped down areas. Coming soon is open and the ditch is back.

Probably taming the whales,they were getting pretty large yesterday.

The roads were sketchy when I got there so it seemed to be safe bet . I had chains in my truck but they’re a pain . When I left at noonish the roads were worse.

I saw Blue is charging $4.00 hr for the premium lot, I parked up top today. I had a chuckle when I saw “100 spaces left “ sign. There were probably 7 cars. Did they go from $30.00 day to hourly rate? Early in the season I saw a sign that said $30.00 day at the base lodge.

Falls is open but I went further east. Under the quad was nice 😊 Back to work ☹️

Yeah messed me up. I was doing a front flip and stopped rotating when I spotted the skis. Major concussion, couldn’t remember my girlfriend’s name.

Yeah unfortunately we don’t have rear view mirrors. I got taken out by an asshole who left his skis on the blind side of a bump in the middle of the slope. He walked into the woods to take a leak. I’m laying on the ground dazed and what does he do? ”Oh here’s my skis” Clicked in and left me there.

I’m thinking about the next real powder day. Hopefully weekday. Also the mindset of all the people who saw what happened and were stuck in line.Will they show up again? Volume wise I think that Blue will be able to deal with the crowd at the lift but that means more people on the hill. Once they get more terrain opened up it will be just the usual bottom bottle neck. Looks like Tuesday storm?

I have a “Colin” bias, I don’t get stiffed by customers too often but Colin got me for $2,700.00 Karma caught up with him though, his drug dealer fronted him a bunch of product. He got busted and couldn’t pay him back. Apparently he’s still in the run .
