Drove through Macungie 20 minutes ago and golf ball size flakes. 5 miles south pouring rain wtf? Looking at the radar there seems to be an area of precipitation South and west moving north at a higher speed than the rest of the storm….. = Rain @&$!!

Speaking of salty, I was behind a Pendot truck driving slow and using 5 tons per mile. I turned off onto another road. First storm people don’t remember how to drive and I guess the Pendot employees either. Snowing my way about 3/8” and coming down pretty good. Tomorrow afternoon looks like more snow sneaking in so I’m thinking over perform .

Lots of small scrapes but edges are intact. If I pad big $$$ for my new old skis I’d be pissed .

One 5 Happy to be alive. Hit a deer last night (minor) half a mile later ran over a mouse. Left home by a quarter mile this morning and almost hit three deer . Arrived 8:30 safely. First chair quad to coming soon first tracks okish . 6 Pack and first tracks on the side country Vista witch was smooth as silk. Skied midway skiers left side and cut to right for some leftover bumps. Skied on till 9:45-10 Back to coming soon after I hooked up with my friend Paul, it needs some luvin for sure. Sun was now out and midway sides and main st were in great shape. Accidentally met Johnny Law and took a couple runs together , he rips ! Last run down coming soon was not fun and Dream weaver intersection had some gravel mixed in. Fubar constipation started to develop at the usual place bottom of main intersection. Bailed 12.15 ish. Nice day

Pretty empty today

My picture date was the 16th the storm ended the night before but there were a number of storms prior that , which laid down a great base without an ice crust. That February was awesome I’ve never seen that much snow on the Blue Mountain. We passed on skiing at Lehigh gap trail because of wind and opted for more sheltered run in Jim Thorpe. Those rocks are huge but they were covered completely!

My Niece was a total beast. The day before she called me and canceled, she cracked a vertebrae after landing a jump wrong at Blue. After the snow she called and uncancelled lol. I carried the water and food. It was about 5 miles round trip.

That February was probably my most memorable BC skiing. My niece and I skinned up from Weisport to Jim Thorpe and skied the rockslide. I had looked at that line for 15 years. My father in law lived across the river. Thanks for the flashback.

I would agree with that once it’s skied in a bit . But 6” of mashed potatoes I’ll be channeling Donny Pelitier .

Helpful that it’s a nighttime storm. Back seat straight line FTW .
