    Stances

Depends on what I am riding, on my freestyle setup I ride -9/+17. On my freeride setup I ride 0/+17. I go a little wider on my freestyle setup around 22 inches and about 21.5 on the freeride setup ( I am 5'9). I was told to have both angles positive for freeridng but it does not feel right to me. I think its all about what you feel is comfortable. You will see a lot more forward stances up there than here because there is a lot more freeriding and these people are most likely are not hitting the park. But if you went over to the park almost everyone would be rockin a duck stance. If you are riding park or a lot of switch than I would stay with a duck stance -/+, for cruising around its up to you.
  4. Will night riding be open to this weekend? I can't make it during the day because of work.
  5. I hope Blue learns how to set up their park, it sucks on sidewinder they need it on another trail or a new trail like someone proposed. I love Blue the riding there is great, but I get a pass to Bear because their park is way better. If I want to freeride I go to Blue when they have discounts. Sunday night is the best, it is 18$ and you have the place to yourself most of the time.
  6. Twintippers are freestyle skiers, their skis go up on each end like a snowboard. My buddy picked up of nice pair at the Buckman tent sale. I snowboard but to see some of the stuff these freestyle skiers are doing is quite amazing. Some of them destroy the park and the pipe.
  7. Thanks for that , finally gave me some hope, I was starting to think we weren't going to have winter this year.
  8. Frost park sucked last year, I am glad to see they are getting some new stuff and have brought the pipe back, I didn't make it to boulder last year but heard there park was pretty sick.
  9. I checked Bear Creeks website and they are trying to open Dec. 8th, hopefully I have off that day.
  10. Thats funny, I just checked their website before coming here, its nice to see the lights on , I think temps are suppose to get colder beginning next week, hopefully some snowmaking soon
  11. I have never rode at camelback and probably won't, all I hear is negatives about the place , ski patrol, crowds, the park sucks. Sounds like the only thing they have going is their lifts which I heard are quite nice, wish some other spots would get new lifts. I guess i'll just stick to Blue (freeriding) and Bear (park). As well as the ocassional trip to jf/bb and elk. As for the C-rail I know Bear Creek has a C-box.

    Bear Creek

I got a pass to Bear this year, its the place to go if you ride park a lot, plus its so close. Boulder has a nice park as well but to far for riding during the week for me. I'm really interested to see how Bears pipe is going to be with the new cutter. I was going to get a pass to Blue but it is more expensive and there park is dangerous and groomed terrible all the time. I love the freeriding though and the high speed quad, wish some other areas would get new lifts(Elk, Bear, JF/BB). I'll have to go to Blue on Sunday nights when its cheap for some good freeriding cause Bear has none.
  14. Whats up everybody. Blue park has some nice stuff but their grooming is terrible. I find it to be more dangerous than anything, the whole layout, you can not see whats coming up. Their rails are too skinny and their are no boxes to be found. Jumps with big ruts in them. Thats why I got a pass to Bear instead of Blue this year. Bear grooms better and maintains stuff better and has a better layout and better features. Blue is awesome for freeriding though. Big Boulder park is sick too. Bear and Boulder defintley have the best parks around the area.
