  1. So it looks like I am buying a base bevel tool unless someone else has an idea of where to go.
  2. Those boards do look interesting and seems like a good concept. What reverse camber board did you ride? The reason I went with the Never Summer is because it has reverse camber in the middle of the board but regular camber towards the tips so you get added stability.
  3. I am in NE Philly. I was going to start with two and go from there , that's what I usually so anyways.
  4. I always take my boards to a shop and get my base and side edges beveled and am wondering about doing this on my new Never Summer. I usually go with a 2 degree side bevel and 2 or 3 degree base bevel. I like it cause I can play around in the park without destroying my edges as much. Never Summers sidecut is different and I am worried a shop might mess this up. Here is a description of the sidecut and how they do their reverse camber, just click on rocker and camber : Never Summer . I usually go to Buckmans but am not sure if they use a machine or do it by hand. I have a feeling if it is stuck in a machine it could mess up the sidecut. Anyone know how Buckmans tunes their boards ? Or if any shops hand tune ? Any information is appreciated .
  5. I use to ride an Evo a few years ago and liked it a lot. It was just a little stiff for the park. Now it has the rocker and camber I think it should be a lot of fun to ride. Stable at speed but still easy to press and butter cause of the rocker, can not wait to get on it.
  6. Just ordered a 158 Never Summer Evo R (white one) and a pair of Black Union Forces. Pretty stoked on the setup and the Smith I/O goggles I got from Saurus seem pretty sick.
  7. PM Sent for the black ones.
  8. I never been to Magic but will have to check it out. I want to hit up some of the smaller mountains in Vermont this year. I also wanna get to Stowe, still have not made it up there.
  9. I really like Bromley, great little mountain. Seems like everyone there likes to stay on the groomed stuff. Lots of fun stuff to be found in the trees, not the designated glades. They never get touched besides the few people who work there who pointed me in the right direction, thanks if you are out there . The bartender makes a mean drink as well. I will be back again.
  10. I will check them out, thanks.
  11. I am going to be getting A Never Summer Evo 158 and a new pair of Union Forces to go with it. Picked up some Dakine Cobra gloves , and some new 686 outerwear from dogfunk that was deeply discounted. I need a new pair of goggles. Anyone have any recommendations? I like the Anon Figments I have now since they fit my R.E.D. helmet good and i have pretty much every lens for them, so I might just grab another pair. I also like the Smith I/O but don't know how they will fit. I guess I will have to wear my helmet to a couple stores and see how different goggles fit with it.
  12. I prefer Blue over Camelback. The runs are longer at Blue and the conditions are around the same, although Camelback does have a longer season now.. Camelback has a better park but you said you like to mess around on small jumps and stuff so I think Blue suits you better. I like that at the end of a run at Blue I can still go through the Terrain Run and hit a couple boxes or some small jumps on the way to the lift. If I feel like riding park than Sidewinder is half decent and the jumpline is usually pretty good. I think the freeriding is much better at Blue but park is much better at Camelback. For what you want I would choose Blue , you can have your top to bottom run and hit some smaller rails/boxes/jumps at the end of it. Plus they setup a separate smaller park on Come Around which is usually okay and would probably be good for you. This will also be my first year as a pass holder at Blue after deciding between a couple places. If you really want a good top to bottom park than look somewhere else than Blue , it takes forever to get Sidewinder built.
  13. Nice , I am definitely heading west again this year . I am leaning towards going back to Utah but am still up in the air.
  14. Price Reduced, 225$ for the setup.
  15. Some Pics : If Yous want let me know soon or its going on ebay.
  16. Not sure , If i can't get rid of the board I am just going to keep the whole setup. If I get rid of just the board will let you know about the bindings..
  17. Seems like no one is interested in the setup, I am willing to part ways with just the board. 175 $ Gets you the board.
  18. Ya, if there is no interest in the whole setup I will get rid of just the board.
  19. This years Darkstar 155 , only been on it about 5 days, and just got it tuned. I like the board but I find myself riding my K2 Jibpan more. The Union Forces are from the year before and have about twenty days on them and are in good shape. A few nicks from the lift line on the top sheet but that's it. I am asking 250$ for the setup.
  20. If you are worried about the Agents than there are plenty of similar boards that you would like : K2 jibpan , K2 Darkstar , Never Summer Evo- R , Never Summer SL - R, Ride DH, to name a few. I ride the Darkstar and Jibpan and like them both. The Jibpan is probably my favorite board, so much fun to ride and does everything well. I might be selling the Darkstar because I ride the Jibpan more often. The Never Summers have a form of reverse camber on them but are still pretty stable because they us regular camber as well. My next board is most likely going to be A Never Summer Evo-R..
  21. I never have to sit down to strap in, its pretty easy to do standing up. Don't you feel the differences in flex and stiffness between bindings. I know this would really bother me. Maybe you should get some higher end Flows , I heard they are pretty decent and you might be able to have two of the same bindings.
  22. I know , I was actually going to put as Toast would say before it, but had quite a few Rising Moons last night and forgot. It was definitely needed in this situation but will let you handle it in the future.
  23. Robert , you are riding two different bindings on the same board? I can't believe this. You take a bus everyday to ride jf/bb , roller skate in parking lots when you are bored and ride with two different bindings because you like getting into the flows 10-15 seconds faster. I <3 pasr.
  24. Go with the Agent . I have an Anthem and don't really like it in the park, okay for jumps but thats it. Agent will be a better all around board.
