I could probably do it myself but when it comes to base bevel I think it would be kind of tricky and don't want to take a chance on a brand new board. I have an edge tuner for the side edge and normally wax and repair stuff myself. For the base edge I would need vices and a table. I can wax and sharpen the side edges without having to do this. I eventually will be buying a setup like this to do all my tuning. Maybe I will by a base edge tool and mess with it on my old board but don't want to take a chance on my new one. Ant good suggestions for such a tool , and tuning table/vices?

I have three or four boards that I would like to get tuned before the season. Which place can I go to and not get my stuff ruined. I went to langhorne once to get edge work done on another board and it never rode the same , seemed like the edge was uneven when they finished with it. I want to get base bevel added to two boards , one of them being brand new. I like a 2.5 or 3 base bevel on my park and all mountain boards so I can still keep an edge and not hang up on rails. I was thinking maybe Bear Creek since I have to go up there to get my pass anyways. I would prefer something close to Philly so I don't have to go far , but if I have to I will. Also I coat my boards with a layer of wax that I leave unscraped for the offseason to keep stuff from getting into the base. Do I have to scrape the wax off or do you think they could just take it off there before the wax it again and tune it. Sorry for the long post and thanks for the replies.

I will sell just the board for 150$, send me a message if you are interested.

There are some good deals online for the Titan, from what I have heard its a stiff freeride machine, got to love that three year warranty Never Summer has. I want to get an SL, I was also looking at the Summit for when I head out west or the occasional powder day up North, looks like a fun powder board that you can still ride groomers on and such.

I love the Union Forces, they are very comfortable and easy to adjust. The straps are awesome and they come with magnesium ratchets which are stronger and lighter than aluminum. I use to ride Drakes , then switched to Ride bindings, but the Unions are far superior in comfort and performance. The Forces are good all mountain bindings, I had no problem hitting the park with them or just cruising around. I just ordered the DLX and have not been on them yet.

I will be riding my 156 Atomic Hatchet with Union forces for the park. My freeride setup is a 161 Rome Anthem with Union Force DLX bindings. I am looking at getting something in between for an all mountain setup, probably a Never Summer SL or a K2 Jibpan. I got a pair of 32 lashed boots last year and were tough to break in but are quite comfy now.

I have a Never Summer Evo 155 with Ride Flight Tomcat Bindings on it. Was an expensive setup when I bought it, there is some minor topsheet scratches and some minor base scratches, otherwise the board is in great condition. I have a new board and I have no use for it now. Board works great in the park or all mountain. I am asking 225.00.

32 Lashed , I love mine , so comfortable and a great all around boot.

I wish they would have a better setup onto the rainbow rail, the way it is set now you can really only hit it coming from the from the left . It would be nice if they would make the transition onto it a little wider so you can hit it from both the left and right.

I also just got back and it was pretty good, everything was setup nice. There was only one small jump but a lot of different rails and boxes.

I just got follow me around, patchwork patterns, and flavor country the other day. I watched Patchwork Patterns and FMA today and both were great. Patchwork Patterns has a real good vibe to it and is fun to watch. I like FMA better, the riding and soundtrack were better and Eero definitley should of got part of the year. I still have to watch flavor country.

Which would be the better place to hit up on Saturday. I am going with a friend who is a beginner so he won't be doing much park. Which will be less crowded and have more open terrain. I want to do some laps in the park but want to be able to ride other stuff too. How is the park over at JF ?

Thanks for the replies and I will definitley check out the rib place. I am definitley going to go now. Looks like they have a good variety of stuff so I won't be bored and she won't be in over her head. I also like the idea thats its almost always sunny there, makes for better conditions.

Ya, It looks like a good place to go, especially with a beginner. I think I am going to stay at the Bromley Sun Lodge which is right at the base and ski in and out. Any thing to do around there besides snowboard? I think there is a bar in the Place I am staying at, you know any good places to eat or other things to do around the resort that would be helpful.

Has anyone ever been to Bromley in VT? I am thinking about planning a trip there in the beginning of March and want to know what it is like. The person I am going wit his new to the sport and this place looks like it will be good for her . Also its really cheap to stay slopside at the lodge during the week.

I also ride an Evo 155 and love it for all mountain/park riding but it is a stiffer park board. I would say a Rome Agent, k2 jibpan, Atomic Hatchet, Ride Kink or Ride DH (stiffer than the kink).
-
I'll be there satuday night most likely, you think they will have Lazy Mile open by then?
-
I am trying to head to Utah again in the beginning of March, I would love to get to Jackson someday.
-
I have the Figments and they fit perfect under my RED helmet, they are kind of a big goggle but I don't think you will have a problem.

Erro's part was crazy, I don't have enough video's , i need to get some.

I was at this place last year, very weird resort by PA standards but definitley fun. Anyone plan on heading to the knob this year, I might do a weekend out there, no liftlines and some quality terrain. I would love to hit this place after a dump.

Going to Utah for first time, lots of questions

Go to Brighton, PC has more groomed trails but Brightons terrain is much, much better and they get a lot more snow. PC has a better night life but brighton is a much better resort. I was at 5 resorts when I was out there and PC was my least favorite. -
Yes I am on SB.com, and El does love his Atomics. I am still up in the air but am leaning towards the 161 NS premier or the 163 Ride prophet. I definitley reccomend demoing a NS board, they make a very solid board.

I won't be riding park with this board, I have a NS Evo 155 for that which I mainly use at BC since its such a small resort and the park is really the only thing there. The 158 I plan on getting will be used as an all mountain board for resorts like Blue, Elk etc. when I fell like cruising and doing a lap or two in the park. The 161 or 163 will be used just to freeride, no park, when I head to Vermont a few times a year and out west for a week or so. I think I might be beter of with the 161, good for the trees in Vt. but still should float me okay out west.
