Ya weird vibe. Someone's dad kept checking in on them with a cocktail in hand before disappearing back into the bar.

Took my 7 year old out for a couple hours yesterday (our third outing together this year after he broke his leg at Spring Mountain last year doing the Sunday night learn to ski program; result of being mismatched with a more advanced group and shitty rental bindings that didn't release). Conditions were great and place was empty until ski clubs started busing in around 4. Warmed up on Broadway to work on some turns and then lapped Timberline/Kodiak until he worked up the courage to give his first black run a go (Bear Trap, great success). Lifties were rocking out to 1/2/16 Phish @ MSG so all around a nice afternoon. Enjoyed some tasty wings before we headed home and got to people watch the most awkward table of high school boys ignore each other for an entire meal.

First time poster long time reader here. Elks lifts are slow but their lines are typically way shorter and trails less crowded when compared to Blue. Guess I would prefer to be sitting on a slow chair than shuffling through a crowded line.
