I'll be impressed if they pull it off. There was more brown than white on the race trail (at least from what I could see from I-81).

I guess we'll find out for sure later today.. but the looks of the race trail from I-81 did not look good at all. Either they steal all the snow from the terrain park, or we use mud patches as gates.

Ugh, I guess I still have to pack the skis & suit for tonight.

No team results yet. There was a slight hiccup with how the computer calculated the team scores, so they couldn't get the team results complete quick enough. But we finally found someone who could beat the top man, Racewax.com's Chris..... Racewax.com's Bob.

It was a lot of fun. I'm glad to see that whole bar fill up with league racers.

I second this. I'm a park nub, so I need a place to start. The huge hits are too tough for me to clear... and from the looks of it whenever I make a run through the park, about 75% of everyone else.

Haha, I haven't skied Whistler in the longest time. This should be fun. Besides, I could use the training.

Perhaps someone can teach me a thing or two on how lenses work. Because I can't understand how filtering light out (ie, using colored lenses) works w/ night use. You'd think the letting the max amount of light into your eye would be best for low light (night) skiing.

I didn't race last year.. but before that I do remember that the fast girls/women were so in demand they were being recruited like blue chips. The "Females Not Required" rule makes sense. Hopefully I can do the league this year. Always a lot of fun.

I guarantee if they put in a 70' kicker it will go unused. Every time I go through the parks I see some kids in there that impress me. But nothing that good. They need to concentrate on the beginer park for now. How many times have you seen the kids go up those huge 12' high table tops at Montage only to get 1' of air? I've seen kids have more fun with a little kicker on the side of the slope than some of those monsters in the park.
