We got 7th out of 12. But we totally feel 5th or even 4th is easily reachable. The teams that placed just ahead of us didn't get us by much at all. Very close.

I don't blame people.. there's no such thing as a small-sized kicker. There's medium, large, and jumbo.. but nothing for a 7y/o to use. Enough peeps use these lips (which I see a LOT of people doing it at every mountain), the mountain will get the hint.

Yeah.. 1 blue course run, 1 red course (dual slalom). Last night was just a practice set.. so we really don't know the results. They listed all our times in no particular order, so you can see how you did.... but no team results... and it's real tough to tell how you did individually since it wasn't in order.

Hrmm.. hopefully they get started on that 13 footer... that sucker was fun.

That's my biggest beef with Sno. They're getting carried away with tree removal. Skiing up top is already painful due to it being colder, but now there's almost NOTHING left to stop the wind. The ugly "bowl" area that used to be 2 well-separated trails (Switch/Spike) under the Iron Horse lift now only has exposed piping and power lines separating the two trails. Sno, if you do read this and take suggestions from here... please please do what Elk does and replant some ever-green trees so we can know what it's like skiing a trail again instead of a large chunk of exposed mountain-side.

Well.. now that has me wondering if they're putting new lights on the race course trail.... which would be amazing!! There are definitely dark spots on that course, and my eyes struggle picking up the blue flags because I'm going so fast..

They're not blowing snow this morning because altho the temperature is below freezing, there are other weather factors that have to be considered, such as humidity. If there's high humidity, the temperature must be way below freezing for the water mist to freeze over. As of 9:00 AM, the temperature on 81 North was 30

Nice to finally run into you Dave... Conditions were amazing on NF. Lower Runaway was a bit icy. Also didn't head up top. But again, NF was amazing. White Lightning is starting to get some nice (but a bit sporadic) bumps. A great day.
