  1. Hah.. I tried posting once on my BlackBerry, couldn't get it to werk... what do you have? Either way.. heading up now. Better late than never.
  2. If you're in, I'm in.
  3. Cool... I take it you're going to be in it Dave?
  4. Awesome!! I guess the pumps are fixed and all the guns are firing! Sno should be 100% open real soon. I heard the race course trail and Highball are the next to open... leaving Upper Fast Track and Runaway last.
  5. LOL, I thought you were joking until I went to their site to check. That's awesome... I've never heard of a "Men's night" outside an Alternative Lifestyles club.
  6. LOL!
  7. Here's my 2
  8. How much is it per night? I think Sno's was like 12 bucks and that included a ticket. Can't beat that. I might be down.. Should see if Bob(Bobert540) is down..
  9. Yeah.. it just feels like there's tons to ski when they have their blues open... even though I can go a full season without actually skiing them, it's nice to have them available as an option.
  10. Not sure of the %... or how many they claim they have open (there are more people that get pissed off they're lied to when the mountain calls 20' long cutovers "trails" than people that get impressed when a mountain says they have 21 trails)... But according to my math... they have 9 out of 15 trails open. Open: Mainline o Bunnyslope o Whistler □ Spike □ Lower Runaway ◊ Canonball ◊ Smoke ◊◊ Boomer ◊◊ White Lightning ◊◊ Not Open: Highball o Easy Street (which never really opens) o Switch □ Upper Runaway □ Upper Fast Track □ Lower Fast Track ◊
  11. Well sorry you had a bad day... but that's actually good to hear. The reason they haven't been blowing liek whoa is because the pump's down, and not because they're trying to conserve energy costs or whatever. Knowing the way that mountain is.. shit breaks, but Sno immediately throws money at it to fix the problems. So once that pump's back up and running.. get ready for typical "holy shit that's a lot of snow" Sno Mountain.
  12. Well, on the 25th, the snow was dirty. I could only imagine how bad they got after a few more warm and rainy days. Good news is the cold temps ARE coming... Accuweather.com's Scranton, PA forecast: Sunday, Dec 28 Breezy with some sun Low: 31
  13. Man, we need some cold temps bad. This is getting seriously depressing. Where the hell is Winter?
  14. Hah.. tell me about it. But one good thing about Sno is they can blow a ridiculous amount of snow when they get all their guns going.
  15. Hah, how much was the ticket?
  16. I watched a few episodes a few weeks ago when I heard they were at Blue.. but all the episodes were from the Rockies instead of Blue. Just saw the Blue episodes today... Neat to watch. Side note: Blue has some punk ass kiddiez that go there...
  17. Showed up around 1:00.... the lot had about as many cars as it gets on a midweek night. The snow conditions were good except for: The trails are getting dirty. No bare spots, but the snow's definitely not white. White Lightning and Smoke were very choppy. They knocked down all the moguls and groomed it, but it was far from corduroy. Positives from when I was there on Saturday: The lazy river is fully covered and groomed. No more roped off areas in front of the lodge. Lower Runaway was open and in good shape. It was nice to take a top-to-bottom run from Whistler to Runaway. Spike will probably be next to open. Negatives: Spike will probably be the ONLY one to open in the near future. Doesn't look like anything's been blown on Upper Runaway, the race course trail, or Highball. Plus it'll be a while for any features on Spike since coverage is still very thin. It was awesome to get some turns in for baby Jesus.
  18. Wow... That's amazing for you!
  19. Dood, I'm pretty sure I saw you but your tan jacket thru me off.. was that you?
  20. Cool man.. I'lll look for you. I'm wearing a black jacket/gray pants (zzZZ I know).. So I'll try to keep an eye out for you. I think Melissa still rocks something like a purple Spyder jacket. See you up there.
  21. You're pretty hardcore if you're trying to squeeze skiing in between work and a party.
  22. My mom was complaining about the lighting as well.. said the rails really snuck up on you coming down Mainline. Welp.. I'll be up there tomorrow... finally! Let me know who else is going, what time, and most importantly, what time you're quitting to go hit the bar.
  23. There are a bunch of days coming up with highs below 30
  24. Hell yeah man.. that's great news! I'm definitely going out on Saturday!
  25. Hah.. funny how many people are having their 30th birthdays. Here's the aftermath of my 30th on November 22nd: Killington is a great way to spend a birthday. I'll be up there maybe a week or two after you.
