Have you tried the Judge with Flow bindings? I've heard rumors that DC boots don't fit too well with Flow bindings. Didn't know if there was any truth to that, but I'm thinking about getting the judge.

Has anyone ever used epoxy to seal up their board? At Elk, we ended up hitting a rock or something and banged up my board a little. About a 2 inch length of my topsheet by the tip was lifted up (lifted area is about 1/4 inch deep) and was filled with dirt/mud. I scrapped out the dirt/mud and ordered a bunch of stuff from Tognar. I got some of the high grade (slow curing) epoxy, an oyster knife, a syringe (to inject the expoy), and a C-clamp. Should I clean out that damaged area further? If so, what should I use? Anyone have an general tips on epoxy use? Thanks!

Any word on how many trails will be open Sun Dec 26 - Wed Dec 29? Night skiing? Going there with my family those dates.

I hope Blue sticks to this date!! I'm REALLY getting sick of how all these opening dates keep getting pushed back!!! The weather early Nov messed me up. I got psyched about how cold it was getting and then Shawnee, HV (NJ), and Alpine post opening dates for Thanksgiving weekend!! Believe it or not, I've actually lost sleep over this. I think I need help.

I'd probably go even if they only had 1 top to bottom slope open. UNFORTUNATELY, they just pushed back their opening date to the 17th.

Thanks! We chose her breed because we thought that she was pretty unique. Turns out, she's a dog with a cat-like personality. She cleans herself all the time, loves just chilling on the bay window, and likes to rub up against you like a cat.

We've thought about that, but it's just too much of a drive. We have a year old puppy and can't leave her home alone that long.

Yep. According to their conditions page they're currently making snow on "five" trails, terrain park, and snow tubing. What a waste making snow on the tubing park. Wish they would move those blower over to another trail.

I just picked up a pack of Swix CH6 Hydrowax. Haven't used it yet. How is their Hydrowax compared to their Universal?

Skidude, what type of wax do you use for your universal warm/cold? I've been using One Ball Jay 4WD Normal snowboard wax. Anyone tried the Cold or Warm One Ball Jay 4WD? Any suggestions for snowboard wax?

Yeah, they changed the date since I started the thread. For some strange reason, I've been getting my hopes up too often this year. Since early Nov I've been hopeful (on and off) for an early start to this season.

Approximately how long should you wait to scrape off the warm wax? Should the wax be soft to the touch, or hard but warm? Started tuning my board last season, still trying to figure out the fine details.

In general, if you're using base cleaner with the intention of removing all the old wax and cleaning the base... is base cleaner harmful to your base? If I plan on waxing my board every 3 trips or so, would you recommend using base cleaner, or just multiple coats of wax?

Are you saying that the base cleaner will ruin your board or the stone grinding?
