yeah im not too sure how fun it'll be later on tonight. once again probably would of been better if I had skis with edges and stiffness, but thats what I get for being a park rat
-
yeah the sale is on everything btw, not just skis. lots of good outerwear on there, boots, snowboards, everything you can think of. might get a new jacket too, they got some orage on there!

just got an email from evo, they're having a pretty sizable sale on last years shit. 20% coupon code (NorthPole), and free shipping. they got some dope skis on there...line, volkl, salomon, k2, armada. they have line chronic krytonites for $311 after the coupon with free shipping...really tempting me right now. pretty much everything from last year is in stock and pretty cheap, if you're looking for a new pair of skis, this might be a good excuse. http://www.evo.com/outlet-shop/

nah, was on the lookout but I may have missed him since I left early. I can imagine tomorrow being much better, temps look good for tonight so hopefully they'll freshen things up with some new manmade. that's all they need really, things were just gloomy today.

just got back from a shit session at blue mountain. got there around 9:30 and skied until 11:45. park was solid ice, making the lips ungrippable and overall was pissing me off so I didn't lap it much. slipped out a lot, and somehow ripped my new hoodie? don't know how that happened, oh well. everything in the park seemed to have shrunk from the rain, shit was just a little off and I just wasn't feeling it. snow on lazy was nice though, lapped that a few times then bounced since I was super pissed and felt like I was gonna get hurt. main street/midway was pretty iced over but ill take that over a field of death cookies. had a few cat tracks on it too . partially my fault for expecting a good day after the rain. had that march rainy vibe to it. oh well, at least I had fun on lazy and spent my monday morning on snow instead of doing something boring. things should be back in order with a few days of blowing. supposedly they're shooting to open up the valley wednesday. weather looks good for later on the week, finally calling for some sun. should be a fun weekend ahead of us.

im in philly right now, but should be at blue tomorrow

I have a pair of rossi 120 bindings, missing some hardware though. Most of the screws are missing, shouldn't be too much of a problem to replace them though (I think? they're just screws....). Have about 60ish days on them. $65.

pretty much ripped my back to shreds when I ate shit. burned a pretty legit portion of skin off
-
I really wish they had the 6 pack open. I fucking hate when lazy is open but all they have running is the double chair. should free up the vista chair though for park laps, so ill be good
-
hit up the bmdi for lunch today. dankest chicken finger basket in the pokes
-
you're never too old to ski park. sure maybe once you get a little older it might be in your best interest to skip the big line, but I don't think ill ever stop
-
pretty much described it all in my post. it wouldn't of been nearly as bad if I had skis that were flop sticks and edges. also ive been spoiled with CO snow for the past two years, bit of a shock going back to blue.

come around definitely softened up when the "sun" came out but main street/midway was a consistent unskiable pile of death cookies pretty much the whole time I was there. every time I skied down it I felt like at some point my acl was gonna be ripped to shreds. combine that with the human slalom and I give it a big fuck that with a cherry on top. took one run through the bumps, which were surprisingly not too bad. kind of on the soft side.

also the top lodge improvements were fucking awesome. can't wait for the firepit to be running, prime spot fo sho.

legit ass day. rolled up with xnick at about 11. first run caught up on a major cookie and ate major shit, thought the day was gonna suck until I started lapping the park. hands down best pre-season come around setup ever, so legit. way better than boulder's bullshit. wide lips and actual semi-steep landings. pretty much everything I could ask for from blue, just about every feature was fun and very hittable, no circus shit. lift lines were maybe 2 minutes. rfid was a shitshow, no employees get the concept and were making people take their pass out for the most part. everytime I was scanned the dude literally touched the scanner to the pass...either those scanners have no range or the liftees are retarded. death cookies were horrendous, pretty much making main street/midway unskiable with my afterbangs...break out the fat skis if you don't want to die there. park setup is an urban downrail (MONEY) and down box, hip/wallride, butter box, flat box and flat rail (also money), trap and flat down flat, 10ish ft mellow step down (actually worth hitting), and a SMOOTH ass up rail to semi-steep landing thats about the width of a box (great to spin off of). nothing was sticky, everything slid super quick. totally impressed. can't wait to hit it up again. blue definitely has the potential to have one of the best parks if they keep it up what I saw today. nothing was bombed out or rutted all day (although the hard snow helped). park crew was fixing shit properly and not chaining cigs and 4loko as usual. it's gonna be a fun season.

I'm not stuck behind a desk. I was up at 7 today and almost went to CB, but then said fuck paying for lift tickets and a $10 park pass when blue is opening tomorrow. Pissed that I didn't now...

definitely want to make a trip over to the springs at least once this season and ski some of the big shit. last year I was completely taken by surprise at some of the jumps they built...
-
they're really opening with all their trails and all three parks?
