54cm If I can't get it sold I'll probably UPS it to myself and then sell it out there. I just want it gone so I can get some fat skis. I don't want to imagine riding pow or trees on my 88 waist center mounted Moments.....

I realize its a bit out of season for this.... But I'm selling a Specialized Langster. Not sure on the year, bought it used in the summer. Rode maybe once a week if that, was originally bought to ride around the city but never made it that far. Mostly through the park when I was bored in the summer. The stock rear hub blew up so I put a Bontrager rim/hub combo on, it's fixed on one side with a flip flop on the other (only a fixed cog is on there, no freewheel). I'd like to keep it but with me moving to CO I could use the money and I have absolutely no room for it in the car. I'm looking for $450 OBO. I can arrange pick up at ski resorts to make things easier, otherwise it'll be at my house in NE Philly. I spent $600+ on this thing, my loss is your gain. I'll also be willing to even trade for some twin tip pow/all mtn skis, preferably with bindings. 92 waist+ (big troubles, prophets, you get the idea).

Probably half the members here go to BB

Quit bitching. I have 7 days before christmas, thats the most I ever had. Plus Boulder blew all that snow for this very reason. They expected a thaw and now they have a really good base to wait it out with.

Anyone down for a PM session? I had some family shit earlier today, I'm going up with some old friends here in Philly. Leaving now should be there around 4ish-10.
-
Fuck yeah...

Anybody know if the jump line will be open tomorrow?
-
That shit is ruined, the lip is higher than the rail. So weird hitting it.
-
Holy shit, I might have to make a trip to CB once before I leave to see this for myself. If that setup is as legit as you guys say it is, it's better than what Boulder has right now.

OK day. Freedom needs a rebuild, the base is way deeper than it was two weeks ago so everything is really low to the ground. Still had fun though. Tomorrow they're calling for 35MPH winds, I drove back to Philly and said fuck it. I came home to a decent amount of snow on the ground, I'm gonna set some shit up in my backyard now. Hopefully they have a jump line next weekend....

I'll be there, look for square tip skis

Boulder's crowds honestly are no worse than an average mid-season weekend.

It's a buck to go through Split Rock from 940, but like Jordan said you can just go down to 115 where the Wawa is to avoid it. If you're taking I-80 from the turnpike then you avoid it completely.... It's not much longer, definitely not worth a buck

The takeoff was way bigger and poppier than the first jump they had last year, by a long shot.
-
Wasn't a big fan of the jump. I was having trouble judging speed all day, first hit I straighted and landed way deep and second I speed checked and knuckled rather hard. Lost a toenail in the process. It's still pretty big though, I'd say around 35ft. Slight step-up, steep ass landing, and a monster knuckle.

$10 for a hike park when everyone else's were free, good marketing

How to take the bus from Philly to JFBB

I'll let you know next time we do it, that place is mad cheap so its probably gonna happen again sometime soon -
Square coping fest

Carpooling is the way to go. I hate the drive by myself, it's so boring and I'm always in and out of sleeping. I actually like skiing by myself sometimes though, it's stress relieving.

It depends on what you want to ride. Stowe is the best for natural terrain, there's some sick tree runs and powder stashes to be found. If you want park hit up Mt. Snow, or NH, VT sucks for park really. Stowe's park last year was kinda decent but I've seen better from Loon or SR

I would just drive and need be crash at the knights inn on 940 right by 940 snowboards....we payed $50/night for a three bed room -
Coverage is definitely not an issue.

The guns were annoying but really they weren't that bad. I only noticed them on the lift ride up really. Besides, its the first weekend of the official season, how could you pass it up
