The first jump on love isn't bad. The second is terrible though. Neither of those landings are steep enough. You either speed check and case the knuckle or overshoot the landing by a lot. The lips aren't very poppy either. You need to like pop out and then spin, I tend to go corked off the lip. I would up trying to pull a 3 and cased the first jump.

I passed by that Hot Dog place on my way to Blue.

There was no traffic at all...maybe not 20 minutes but it seemed pretty fast.

He's working his way up. I got to Blue in about 20 minutes from Bear Creek on NYE. It's really not as far as I thought.

Just take your stuff to the check, thats why its there. I always check mine even if I'm just leaving them for a minute. Those cable locks don't do shit, as you seen.

I get free tubing with my pass. One of these days we should get a huge crew to go tubing at Blue.

They ripped LOVE park from Loveland. Anyway I'm not such a big fan of the trail it's on. I was perfectly happy with Boulder and Freedom. They just need to set more stuff up in there. All they have is a rail, 2 shitty jumps, and that pointless concrete ledge.

I'd check out Stowe. It's a huge mountain so they can handle the crowds. They don't really have slopeside lodging, only the condo's by Toll Road which you can probably rent (in which case you're actually on the slope instead of to the side of it). Most hotel/motels are about 5 minutes down the road. There's also a bunch of stuff to do in the town itself so if someone isn't skiing they should be able to find something.

Not all of Sidewinder...see the other post for more details. They're opening with the staircase, flat box, and a 30 foot step up.

Some people suck Boulder's dick like its their job. Freedom isn't any better than Sidewinder. Their jump line is crazy though, Ill give them that.

Blue has a jump at the top of Come Around.

....and repair all those core shots from the shitty coverage at BC.

There was shit stains on the lift ramp.

Who knows. My guess is that they'll want to blow more on it this week if they can and then start grooming it out. There's a ton of snow on there now, but they lost a lot with the warm weather.

Most of my friends who live in Mass (Dracut/Billerica area) go to Loon. I've only been there in the summer so I didn't get a chance to ski anything there.

Don't waste your time at BC, especially this time of the year. Head farther north to Blue if you want nice, long runs and fast lifts. BB if you want an amazing park, but short runs and slow lifts.

Got back from my semi-BC session. Hands down I will never go there again. I bought a lift off someone in the lot for $15 and I was glad I did. I literally took 2 runs and left, went to Blue for a few hours. I was snaked three times all by snowboarders under 5'. The lift also stopped 7 times in 2 lift rides. Coverage was absolutely horrible. Mud, rocks, shit everywhere. Every landing to every hit was either extremely dug out or a solid chunk of ice. The landing to the flat box was so dug out you can see mud. The only thing, surprisingly, that I even had the slightest bit of fun on was the jump towards the bottom. Blue was no picnic either but I had a much better time on Come Around than I would of ever had at BC tonight. Going there was a stupid idea on my part and you wont see me back for a long time. I feel bad for the passholders. The base depth in some places couldn't of been more than a few inches. That place really made me appreciate Blue, and made me glad to be a Blue passholder.
