Grilled Steeze says that snowboarders belong at Bear Creek with other assclowns.

And season pass validation... Waiting in line when you have a season pass is rediculous.

He shoots with a DVX. HD cameras have native 16:9 resolution.

I was going to get her number, but my debit card got declined and I had to use my mom's, that blew pretty much everything.

There's this BANGIN girl that works at the ticket office too. She took my pass picture.

Raining like a BITCH in Philly. At least my car gets a well needed bath.

Yeah it's been pouring like crazy all day, so depressing. Our rain should be snow there though.

Do NOT buy polycarbonate from eBay. 90% of all orders I ever got from eBay turned out to be plexiglass, which is exactly what you don't want. Only get it from a reputable source like McMaster or OM. An easy way to tell is to try snapping a corner off with pliers. If it crushes, its plexiglass. If it does nothing, its polycarbonate. You should only need 1/8" maximum for your box....it's not that expensive.

Dang, B+ work on my part.

Just because BB opened earlier doesn't make it a better mountain. Yes, I skied there in November. Yes, I enjoyed it. But I prefer Blue much more. The runs at BB are way too short and the lifts are way too slow to consider making that my home mountain. Not to mention it's another 40 or so miles from Blue. Plus Freedom Park isn't as great as people hype it up to be, IMO. Yeah, the hits are nice, yeah, the trail is wide. I don't like how it's so secluded from the rest of the mountain though, it's way too short of a run, and the lift for the park is too slow.

http://www.onlinemetals.com http://www.mcmaster.com Search for polycarbonate sheet, lexan is a specific brand.

BB opened one month before Blue, big whoop. They have a 2-4 degree difference. They decided to blow snow on a few small trails and get them open. Blue fired up their guns in early November as well, they just need more top-bottom coverage because they are a much bigger mountain. Reasons why I like Blue: Lots of vert. Long runs. Top-Bottom Park. Fast lifts, 2 high speed lifts. Excellent pass value. When I'm at home I drive an hour and 15 minutes to ski blue. I could of easily got my pass at BC and shaved 30 minutes off my travel time, but it's much more worth it to ski blue.

I'll take some pics tomorrow if you want.

I built my own vise and I have a Bakoda tuning kit I got for Christmas about 5 years ago. It came with a bar of wax, iron, scraper, and edge tool. That's all you really ever need. Most of the ski vises are cheap gimmicks so I built one with some shit I had lying around the garage. But there's pretty much no need to go all out with tuning equipment. Hell I've seen people get a regular iron for $5 from Goodwill and use that, you just need to make sure the temperature doesn't go above 160 or whatever the rating is for the wax. Too much heat will damage your base as well. My kit was $65 on sale. I just waxed with Toko Yellow/Warm S3 wax. It was $14.95 for 2 bars, which gets probably 8-10 or so pairs of skis. I know Dr. D's is cheaper, but my local ski shop only carries Toko and I was in a rush to get my skis waxed. They were $9.95 a bar so I figured I would save the $5 and get another bar. Jibbing takes a toll on my wax so I need to wax at least once a week if not more. Which reminds me, I need to get some of that One-Ball Jay Jib wax.

Driving is almost a necessity unless you have connections up there, like someone to drive you around. When you drive you can just stay at any hotel you want, drive to whatever resort whenever you want, etc.

That would get you the actual distance you skied on the trail, not the vertical. Vert is only the y-axis of the mountain, in this case the slope being the hypotenuse if you formed a right triangle. If you measured the distance of the run, you would need to use trig to find the vertical stat. Besides, both statistics are found on the website anyway. Depending on what part of the peak you're on it will differ a few feet from each other. The best way to calculate vert is to count the number of times you rode each lift. Then multiply those numbers to the highest point of vert the lift the lift drops you off at.

I think the problem lies in your poles, you should look into poles like mine. There much shorter than yours, thus giving you some extra clown steeze along with your newly acquired twin tips.

Aye, noobs rock twins mounted that far back. Center mounting ftw.

Yeehaw for Blue. I might be up either tomorrow or thursday, either way I'll be up friday-sun for the new openings.
