  1. It's going to be like the MC jam, but full of very angry BC passholders. ~20 minutes per jib.
  2. They're trying to dig out of the shit pile that has accumulated over their heads
  3. Sno mountain is now a moose refuge, no skiing or riding this year
  4. Everythings been long sold....someone delete this thread
  5. CHECK YOUR STUFF. ALWAYS. Locks do nothing. Most of them are just a little crap piece of 12 guage wire with a combo lock on the other end....and can be opened if you pull hard enough. Also wont stand a chance to wire cutters. If your stuff is checked, IT WONT GET STOLEN. And in the rare chance it does, its the mountains problem with buying you all new stuff, not yours.

    Dear Camelback

I honestly have to say that I've never had a single problem with blue...in all my years of skiing and snowboarding. Besides ego freaks like Mark Miller and Seth Rubino, I've never had a problem with staff, lifts, terrain, parks, etc. The only problems I've had were due to nature and not the mountains fault. CB dug a hole pretty deep, and they keep trying to get out but just cant. They took it up a notch with park passes, but brought it down again with shitty opening dates and poor excuses....not as bad as sno though...
  7. You should be grateful to have ANY features with this weather. Trust me I'm sure the MC park crew is working their asses off to maintain hittable features with 50 degree weather....MC is also much much warmer compared to PA. Seriously folks complaning about having a shitty park, bugging the park crew, etc wont put snow on the mountain. Just sit tight and wait it out until we get a cold rush. The mountain staff and park crew are feeling the same way you are...if they could do it, they would....but they cant.
  8. Where have you been? Blue has had the same park on come around since opening day....on sunday it was 1 jump, butter box, gap on flat box, and ride on flat box...are you sure they changed it up? that makes no sense to add another jump when thy have no room or snow for that I'm actually surprised with this come around park this year. In past years they blew in the lower terrain park and set up there, until they could get sidewinder open...which may never happen this year. They only blew a little bit on lower sidewinder, but the bulk of it has no snow whatsoever. If you think, it only takes a few cold nights to get a BASE down, which would just merely open sidewinder as a trail. It'll then take a couple more nights to get enough snow to put up any features....top to bottom trails may never happen this season until late january...hoping a cold rush will come then. But once feburary hits, they've got about 3 weeks left to blow...then they better hope everything is solid because they are about to hit the spring meltdown.
  9. Holy shit that rail is death x 4. If somebody did that....holy shit. Its neck high and the kinks are so sharp... Rails are everywhere. Chances are if you drive around you'll find more than one in your town. You need to scout them out beforehand, though. You can't just show up to a rail and try to hit it. Check out the rail, if its steel or aluminum, runup space, landing space, and how much snow you might need to bring from the ice rink. The best idea is to hit up a rail right after a fresh snowfall, but that might not happen nowadays. You might need to build a runup ramp, or get a piece of something to rig up a runup.
  10. Yes I definitely would of taken that... BTW that moose looks so retarded
  11. They might not even need to compete with Blue's bus, with the weather we're having lately
  12. calm down buddy. if you need to ride that bad, keep in mind that there are still other resorts open in PA.

    Directions pls

Every other state has some form of PT to the mountains...Utah, CO, Cali, Oregon, even NYC has buses to Mountain Creek and Bell....yet there are no buses connecting any cities in PA to the mountains
  14. Sounds nice....I agree to that notion that granular snow kills your leg muscles
  15. wtf did i just say... i meant lower sidewinder instead of switchback...i wasnt thinking clearly...and yes challenge not razors...i feel like i should go jump off a bridge. i wont be able to live with my misunderstanding of someplace oh so sacred such as blue mt :banghead hahaha i feel like such a retard now
  16. Good to hear that blue is blowing again...they were having some shitstains accumulating on sunday on Lazy Mile. Main street looked pretty good though. My guess is the next trails to open would be switchback and razors...they had some patches of blown snow on switchback, and a good lower 1/2 of razors had mad snow on it...big ungroomed piles. Up towards the top there was just patches but snow none the less.
  17. ryan neptune of planet snow tools he did bear creeks park....also does stuff for the xgames, hcsc, windells, hood, made tools for the olympic pipe, and a bunch of other places

    woah doggy

I guess you're right...the incovenience keeps people out, which is a good thing. I just hate stopping for stupid things...and after like 20 runs in the park its gonna get really annoying... I'm not a big fan of hiking either unless its mad crowded....but I guess it is for the best. oh...and I forgot...WOOHAA

Ugh the stairs seem annoying. It might be less annoying for snowboarders but really annoying for skiers. I seen the stair crap...are they just gonna have a fence or either sides or what? Also whats the possibilility of just skiing over the stairs? hahaha....I really don't feel like taking my skis off and putting them back on to go over like 4 stairs.
  20. Blue's park last year was very good, it beat out BC IMO...not only were the jibs and jumps better, but the trail was like 3 times as long. Blue and BB are going to be hand in hand this year...BB's park right now is really goin off, despite of the lack of snow. But come mid janurary when both are 100% it's gonna be a close one.
  21. I might head up to BB on saturday...I'm getting a ride with my friend though, so he might bitch and not want to go. Normally my dad wouldn't care because I would be driving, I actually almost went there on sunday...I missed the allentown exit because I wasn't paying attention....
  22. why not......the park isnt huge but good for the lack of snow in PA
  23. There's an Arby's right after you get off the TP....wawa on the corner of 940 and 115....make a left off 940 by the wawa and theres the Blakeslee Diner, if you make a right at that same intersection I believe theres a bar type place near the bait shop. I remember when I was like 8 my dad would take me to Lake Harmony Beverage....I'd get an empty plastic bag and fill it with like 300 pounds of candy there
  24. oh...my...god that gave me a stomach ache. I wonder if BC will be open by my schools ski trip in feburary...hahaha but if they aren't open for christmas/new years week, thats gonna be a killer....the only other holidays they can hope for is MLK weekend and President's day...but next week is going to be crucial for business. hopefully blue wont be too crowded that week

    philly

this is true...depending on where I get on I can get to the allentown exit in about 30-45 minutes on the TP
