Don't forget your avalanche gear, probe, meter, food, waterproof matches, gps

Yeah Invaders need to be center mounted. They're designed to be 100% symmetrical so if you mounted them anywhere else but center, my guess is that you'd be fighting against the flex pattern of the ski. Go for em, they're really a "fun" ski...very quick and sharp due to the symmetricalness, not a floppy noodle either. Go a bit bigger than you normally would though. The only problem I'm having right now is waiting for line to SHIP the 171 model to TTN....or anywhere for that matter.
-
Ugh I hate everyone that went with a firey passion, especially IF ONLY LINE SHIPPED MY SKIS, I'd be skiing there right now. I actually convinced my mom to let me go, too, which was a real shocker.

CHILL OUT Trust me when resorts progress PASR is the first to hear about it...if not the only ones to hear about it. Reps post updates here before their own websites...if they blow snow or have any updates on a projected opening date, then you will definitely know. Until then, sit tight, only a few weeks to go before we're skiing in PA.
-
Right now they're getting hammered, tomorrow I'm gonna hit up the back bowls for some waist deep pow, maybe build some 80 ft bc kickers, a tree jib, road gap, pillow lines, then hike west for some more untouched terrain

I try my best

Blue will probably be open on the 8th, they were last year. I dont really care....I'll be in Alabama that weekend so I cant make it out till the 16th anyway, unless I can go sunday.
-
Looks sick, I'll definitely be up this winter to check it out.

How many threads do we need on this topic? 16th for BB
-
I highly highly doubt a Dec 2nd (next week opening), it could be possible I guess if it was a straight up cold week with no rain. My guess is that most resorts will be shooting for Dec 8, realisticly the earliest date...Blue was the first to open the second week in December last season (Dec 8th this year), with like 5 trails, then thr following week BC and BB opened. I probably wont make it out till Dec 16th, depending on whether or not I come back from Alabama on that Saturday, and if Blues open, then go ski on that sunday. It doesnt bother me that much because Dec will be a wash out for me getting rides to ski...in January I'll be driving so I can more than make up for it.

Official: No Skiing Thanksgiving Weekend
Justin replied to skiddp's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
Not surprised. I knew the rain and warm weather would definitely melt the snow. -
Maybe after thanksgiving my guess would be.

isnt it that comp where you need to build a fully autonomous car that like goes through the desert? that's college level shit, caragie melon won last year
-
Yep, 5 yr w/ 3 co-op's at Drexel, major most likely mechanical engineering
-
Naw, BEST. It's a small 24 pound robot that picks up laundry. We placed 2nd overall at 'nova BEST so we get to go Nationals FIRST starts up in January, FIRST is ballin as hell. So fun. Regionals are at Drexel and we're registered for nationals, at Epcot this year (Disney)...I've been doing FIRST for three years, and I'm gettin a scholarship out of it

YES That was my all time favorite show. I've built a couple of 30lbers, in fact in Feb I'm going to Motorama 07 in Harrisburg to fight mine for NERC (NE Robot Conflict) That shit is so fun, building a robot capable of utter death and then throwing it in a ring with another one with the sheer intent to destroy it
-
I ain't no nerd, son, hahaha I just happen to build robots and shit. Everybody makes fun of me in school for it, but in respect that I'll whoop their ass harder than a moose on steroids....I'm sort of like a jock at school, varsity xcountry, varsity crew team, and I play ice hockey...they should change the robotics team to like the manly man super duper endurance death fighting team, or something like that.
-
I know...on the webcam it looks like theres a full base down already... But if they actually started they would be all over with announcing it. My guess is that they should be open by Dec 9th, if not the first weekend in December...I'm so mad that I'm gonna be in Alabama Dec 6-10th...I hope I get in at least one day of skiing before then....oh well

With all the hype of BB and now CB blowing snow, when will Blue start? I honestly think they're smart by not blowing yet. BB is doing it for their rail jam (viable reason) and CB is doing it because their idiots and want publicity. I know Blue is holding off until at least after thanksgiving to open with more than like one trail. The rail jam will probably be only one or two rails and CB is just retarded. Most snow they blow will melt quickly, wasting money and energy.

Yea I was going to go with the 49", something tells me that 47" is for midget wrestlers Just wanted to see what my loyal PASR says
-
So I'm ordering my new poles now, I'm getting the Joystick Spicolli (checkerboard pattern poles). They only have a 47" or 49"....I'm 5'7.5"-5'8"....what size you think I should get? I was leaning toward the 49", but I don't want them to be too long.....I should have 48" poles, but they don't come in even sizes, and I really don't feel like cutting them down.

Big Boulder Park - Snowmaking has begun!
Justin replied to ParkLogic's topic in Jack Frost & Big Boulder
DAYUM Ok so I officially have like two weeks for Line to ship my new invaders before I sue.. -
I'll go if I can find a place to crash at for the night, hahaha But I highly doubt BB will be open, they may have a small jib park if they can blow snow, which I doubt they can do anyways...
-
I plan on driving there one weekend and staying at a random/cheap/ghetto hotel.
