  1. Junior skis may be short and less expensive, so you think why not get them. But the flex patterns and overall construction is based on a little kid's weight and body. You'll break them very easily.
  2. Oh. Sweet. Jesus. Sick shit
  3. urban slopestyle? I don't quite understand.
  4. I HATED that box the one time I hit up CB last season. It wasnt mellow at all and it just hucked you off, which made you lose your balance so you can't even do anything past like 270 off of it
  5. Something tells me that c-box is going to suck. But hey, they could either not be done, or come up with something real creative, I like that idea of having a c-box wallride type thing
  6. Yea it will even out, if you think about how they survived last season with a slower lift, with a faster lift there shouldnt be a problem. The only advantage I see over taking the six pack is that if you're coming from the lower park, the lift is right there and you don't have to go the extra whatever over to the quad....also it dumps you off right at the entrance of sidewinder unlike the quad....still its not that much closer but hey I'll take it...anything to get more runs in The main advantage is going to be the MUCH shorter lines...they'll be moving 4 more skiers per chair now (overall) at a much faster rate...it doesnt seem like a lot but when you crunch the numbers 4 more skiers per chair makes a HUGE difference
  7. LUCKY Have fun. Keep us updated.
  8. Go for the invaders for park. I just pre-ordered my pair about a week ago...also definatly go big with them. They were designed to be center mounted, I'd probably go for the 171....Line skis seem to measure a couple cm's off than what they say and it will ski alot shorter than a regular mounted ski. And there is no BC in PA or the east coast for that matter, its just "off-trail" skiing, like some tree runs, hidden runs inbetween and to the side of mapped runs, etc. Backcountry is not lift accessed terrain, you cant just hike or ride a snowmobile to access some BC terrain on the east coast.
  9. Hmmmm...which mtn this year will have the ever so coveted "big mo-fo booters"...will it be BB or Booter Mtn.? Will Booter Mtn go back to just being Blue and will BB now turn into Big Booter or Booter Boulder?
  10. I can imagine how you guys communicate through PASR all day in the same house
  11. hows $250 sound for the complete (board, bindings)?
  12. lucky bastard
  13. And one more question - what are you guys gonna do with jumps? Are you gonna step it up in that department as well, like the way MC had theirs?
  14. That looked horrible, muddy, dirty, shitty in general. I wouldn't drive like 3 hours+ to go session that. I'd much rather get some ice rink snow and have my own personal jam in my backyard.
  15. I know in CO the Jibij guys celebrate gaper day on April fools day, they dress up like gapers. I'd do that in a heartbeat if our season actually extended to April 1st.... http://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/te.../113/team_id/2/
  16. Technically that would work, seeing as a gaper just stands around in the park in awe with people going mach 35 and hitting some big ass mo' fo' booter.
  17. Looks sick...I'll have to check out BB this year, my dad's friend has a house in Blakeslee, so maybe I can crash there for a couple days.
  18. top...I need to sell this stuff, I'm broke hahaha.
  19. yea they should of made it more exclusive, like maybe 40 or 50 open spots and you need to preregister for them. I know I'd be really pissed if I drove like 4 hours to wait 30 minutes a drop to session a single box.
  20. sweet pic. its on my desktop now, getting me even more stoked for winter and blue mt.
  21. Just an idea, instead of building circus rails, jibtrucks, teeter toters etc, why don't you make some more "normal" jibs, like a trap, c-box, flat rail, kink, etc. Trust me you'd have a whole lot more fun and would learn mad tricks.
  22. Hahahaha finally a verdict. I'll probably be there a couple times with xNick11
  23. Sounds sick Papa. I'm gonna start building some rails for my backyard. I have the perfect natural run in for carpet, ice rink snow, and obviously natural snow. I'd say its a bit steeper and longer than the 1260 park. I'm gonna make a flat double barrel rail, probably 10', with painted wood framing and PVC (stuff slides nice, easy to work with, CHEAP, easy to be replaced, durable), best of all it's probably gonna cost me no more $20. The rail I built last year was made out of PVC, some 2x4's and scrap wood I had lying around - cost me about $10. I also want to make a small trap double barrel rail, same concept as the flat rail, and have like two jibs side by side like 1260. Then when it snows I'm gonna put tarp over the snow so it retains the temperature and doesnt melt during the day from the sun. I'd like to make a snowgun but I don't have a compressor and have no money right now to get one, maybe later in the season I'll do that. But the tarp idea seems like it would work in helping preserve the snow.
  24. I really want to go to colorado state for engineering. But then again I'll probably wind up going to Drexel instead. Either way I'm eventually moving out there.
  25. Peep: http://www.freeskier.com/freeskier/news.php?news_id=630 WHY WHY WHY do I have to live in PA.
