Just ordered from Jibij: Triad Jacket Lime Green Line Cursive Hat Brown (On sale may I add) Ski Porn I can't wait to see ski porn, though. From the looks of the two trailers, it seemed awesome. I can't wait for my pants to be availible too...I'm getting brown pants...brown pants with a lime green jacket, black anon goggles, black gloves, and a brown hat looks awesome.

I bet he tries them on when no ones looking...this whole thing is just a front

I.....still am very very confused about this. Hahahaha

JF I think has the best "natural terrain" in PA...if that exists hahaha. BC has some little tree-runs and side cuts on their other trails I was there a couple times last season....cliff huck was fun to mess around with. Risk it was cool as well...the only thing about it is that you have to make sure there is enought natural snow
-
not really? I remember like two or three years ago there was a couple "powder" days at the east mountain, back when we had the house in Blakeslee....was pretty fun, tree runs were actually doable This season sucked though, I don't think there was one "powder day" or enough natural snow for a tree run. I was only up at JFBB like 4 or 5 times last season though.

I rode the CB chair once in the summer to get on the alpine slide... I was like 12 I think though hahaha
-
55 right now, low 51 tonight and low 58 tomorrow...high 72 and thats in the abington area
-
One time at BC, I remember I got cut off by this chinese kid on rental skis going about mach 300 to just ride straight over the box, it was funny actually.... hahaha, just thought I'd bring it up
-
you could be right, but I just don't see why a mountain can't issue a freaking piece of paper called a park pass instead of building fences, making 10 ft mounds of snow, etc It would save them so much trouble
-
The mound of snow thing can work but then again, we are overcompensating for idiots that shouldn't be in the park anyway. The people who actually ride the park shouldn't be incovenienced.

Sucks when someone does something stupid in the park!

I think I've gotten in more trouble by making sure the kid was ok Next time I'm probably just gonna flee the scene as well to avoid complications -
Yea, I had no one to spot, I was there alone spotting is a good idea, but not sitting on the landing is a much better one the people hitting the jumps shouldnt have to overcompensate for the retards that park their asses

What happened was I landed directly infront of a 9 year old parked on the landing of the first big booter at BC, knocked him down and we both like tumbled I really hurt my shoulder and neck, and broke my goggles from falling. I yell over to the kid "are you OK?" and he didnt say anything, then I get up and like start semi-yelling at him, saying he shouldn't sit here, what were you thinking, he wasn't like responding or anything, then a ski patroller came and told me to meet him in the ski patrol office area at the base, the kids mom was there screaming in my face "who the fuck do you think you are" "maybe you should learn how to ride instead of hitting my kid" and I got my lift ticket clipped and I had to fucking wait like 3 hours in the lodge because my mom couldn't pick me up until then. The ski patroller told me I was going way too fast, was being reckless, and I should of spotted out the landing before hitting the jump...or not hit the jump at all. Wtf is that? So I'm supposed to ride up to the landing, make sure no ones there, then hike it and hit the jump then? And last time I checked they build the jump so people can hit it, not so kids can sit on the landing. I was alone...if I had someone with me I would of told him to spot...but seriously, not only do people need to check their landings, but people need to not park their asses on them as well. -
ski patrollers really need education...the terrain park isn't like other runs, people go much faster and just ski much different than anywhere else on the mountain

The end of january. What happened was I landed directly infront of him, knocked him down and we both like tumbled I really hurt my shoulder and neck, and broke my goggles from falling. So I'm supposed to ride up to the landing, make sure no ones there, then hike it and hit the jump then? And last time I checked they build the jump so people can hit it, not so kids can sit on the landing. This is a good part of the reason why I wont be hitting up BC much this season.

No - at BC I nailed a 9 year old kid standing on the landing of the first big booter. I got hurt more than he did and got my lift ticket clipped and a screaming mom in my face. I should of got the park crew to testify for me, since they know what it's like, but there were no witnesses that I knew and the ski patroller said I was reckless and going too fast (yea you naturally go fast after landing a 40 foot booter). People are more than welcome to just ride through the park, I think, to check it out. Hell, even I do it the first time just to check out the park. Just as long as they don't ride down landings, over lips, or do anything stupid to get in the way.

As far as the spectator lane - Why should they be making our park narrower to accomadate people that shouldn't even be in there in the first place? Park passes. It's that simple. Signs could actually do more bad than good - it causes attraction to the park. It's not like people would actually read it anyway. The only way to keep people out is to have park passes...that's all there is to it. As long as the trail can be accessed by anyone people will go in it no matter what.

Skiing was maddddddddddd good. Filming and editing was a bit annoying. A lot of the angles were too close to the skier and didn't have the skier and ground in frame. Also the fact the beginning only had jumps and the end only had jibs was annoying too. Should of been mixed up. Nevertheless the skiing was insane and now I really want snow to fall
-
Yea that seems like such a dumb idea. November 11th would be sick...I think I might have to talk my mom or dad into taking a trip with me and others for the weekend. Drive up friday, ski saturday, drive home sunday.
-
I've seen kids on snowboards that suck balls. I've seen kids on twin tips that suck balls. They're both equally sick and we both share the same terrain. You can't say that twin tips are better because the kids in the park suck less than the snowboarders. Everybody is at their own level and that doesn't say anything or make skiing better.
-
You know that it was that one assfucker that had to start talking shit on skiing that now turned everybody against each other, and is probably going to make this thread a whole skiing vs. snowboarding thing when all I did was make some points of how BC could do better in their park.

Yea for around a grand total I can probably pull off a week over spring break out west. I'd go to mammoth but I might wind up going to CO and hit up Loveland, it would probably be a LOT less crowded. Idk yet though. I'm still seeing if my mom can give me some more money for 8 days at COC.
-
I want to go to COC so bad. But I/my parents can't afford it. I could maybe pull off 5 days, but for the same price, I could definatly take a longer better trip out west without a camp ove spring break maybe.

I'll be 17 when all of this goes down probably.
