I would NOT recommend using plexiglass. its much softer than lexan and could catch your edges. uhmw is definatly the best bet, but lexan is good also.

I would of landed it but as soon as I came off I hit ice and slid out onto my knees/face. Everything I tried I fell on the landing because of ice. I hate PA sometimes.

Landings from rails, boxes, jumps, etc. were just lumps of ice waiting to break your tailbone. I didn't land one thing today, with every box, rail, or jump I came off of there was a huge block of ice they call a landing waiting to snap my ass in half. Combine that with a de-tuned jib-tastic dominant, and you have a big no-no. The problems I see: 1. This will be the only resort with snow left, but just the park will be open. This could mean that there would be tons of people, both park and non-park users. 2. Keeping hits consistant. I know for a fact that the hits, lips, and landings will be worked all through the day. Even on glaciers in the summer hits are mush by the afternoon, and thats just with normal riding (no assholes riding over lips), so I don't know how you are going to be able to keep hits in good condition throughout the day with retards riding over lips and casing landings. You aren't going to be able to blow any more snow than what you have on the ground at that time, so how would you be able to keep everything in good condition? I'll probably still come out no matter what though, and if I'm there I have no problem helping out the park crew or whatever needs to get done to make this happen.

The little park was extremely small, had two little tiny jumps, a 3ft rail, and basically a piece of plastic/metal in the snow as a box.

More importantly - is it helping to move the crowd away from the main park? Also does this mean bigger/more features in the main park aswell?

Are you looking into a street board? If so, go with the street dweller, they are real cheap. The Slick Dom is a good jib only board, they still have some edge, just not in the center so you dont catch on boardslides. They don't turn too well, but they still feel like a regular board. If you are considering that then just go for the regular dom, thats what I have and I think it is great equally on jibs and jumps. I'm getting a street dweller soon for some urban stuff.

I had a flat rail set up, but last night me and my friend decided to take out the rail and pile a shitload of snow on the jump to make a thigh high kicker. We were bonking trashcans and stuff like that and like hucking 3s and 5s off of it - fun stuff.
