I blocked out my place for PASR use from 1/19-2/28. So make your plans in that time window gents.

Back to normal temps here today. High 40’s for my morning dog walk and only going to be mid 70’s. Sitting on my front porch in the shade and I had to grab a sweatshirt. Love normal mountain weather

I recently saw something that they replaced the rungs and put them too close together so now the bridge makes a humming noise 24/7 from the wind and can be heard for miles.

Not my kinda music.

Haha yeah, I am famous by association since I hang around Shannon. The guy that owns that company loves her.

My friend just drove to Florida, gas pretty scarce down there.

This guys is always in the water where my son surfs. I just started following him on IG, he takes some really nice action shots. My kid living the life out there, he is never moving back to the mainland. Point.n.shoot808

Our governor had a press conference today that the only places masks will be required is public transportation, hospitals and prisons etc. Then he said it is up to individual businesses to decide their own rules. I feel like it’s just going to be a giant shit show, especially here in Boulder.

Good tip about the bio freeze.

Snow here today and tomorrow.

Pre Covid I usually wore a scarf on a flight. Multiple uses; someone busts ass, you can put over your nose, trying to sleep, put it over your eyes.

I get my first shot tomorrow, husband gets his second on Monday.

Haha not this trip unfortunately. One of these years though and Doug can come to CB next season

Was just reading the Crested Butte newspaper and it said that 99% of the reservable campsites in the area are full for this summer. Due to overcrowding and people being assholes, they started eliminating the dispersed camping in the valley. The plan is for it to be all phased out by 2022, with reservable and first come first serve sites. It is going to be really interesting to see at the end of this pandemic how the outdoor industry shakes out. Will people who discovered skiing, camping, hiking etc go back to indoor activities like movies and restaurants exclusively? I think this summer will still see record outdoor pursuits for sure. I also think it is great that families who may not have been outdoorsy have changed their habits and tried new things. But will they drop the money to invest in these things long term?

Got an email from my guide company in Europe outlining some positive steps forward in getting travel reinstated from the US. Looks like they are moving in the right direction and also looks like vaccine passports will be utilized there.

FYI Summit country moving back to level Orange on the Covid dial today.

Been about 3 years since I have climbed outside. Made it to the top of a 100’ pitch, traversed and was psyching myself up to do another pitch. The longer we were on the ledge sorting out the ropes the more I lost my nerve. But was pleased with my progress, have only made it up that high once before. traverse across. Hike out 78 degrees today! No shade where we were so I am sure I got fried

It just had a weird vibe. Lots of guys in their 20’s with sports jerseys on. My friend got plowed down, guy didn’t even stop to see if she was ok. I have since heard multiple stories of people being knocked down.

@GrilledSteezeSandwichI stand by my statement that I don’t like Keystone. I would like to get a few more ski days in this season but my friends seem to be transitioning to warm weather activities.

Just scheduled husband for his first dose. All CO residents eligible to schedule starting this Friday.

Yeah, both my sons can be assholes. All I can do is nag him.

In this phase though I think my son could get one. If you are below 50 one of the conditions is “scarred lungs” so I think he would qualify under that.
