Haha don’t be too impressed, had my skins on (way up) and was taking it SUPER slow. Water aside, just taking a fall off that bridge could fuck you up in lots of ways.

Very fun day today! Headed up to East portal in Rollinsville. The last 4 days have been pretty windy so we knew the snow would not be great. But the weather today was calm with bluebird skies before snow rolls in tonight. Stas hats represented! Sketchy bridge crossing Panda zonked out in the car Just over 4 miles w about 1000’ of gain. I ended up taking a wrong turn and we literally ended up on the wrong side of the tracks, railroad tracks run next to trail. We thought we could go around but it was all fenced so it was kind of a pain in the ass going back uphill. Skis on had to herringbone, skis off post hiking up to knees. Think we burned more calories backtracking that section then on the whole tour! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No in Jersey I got excited about designer labels and breaking in a new pair of Prada shoes. Now I am excited about breaking in trucker hats. Colorado life> Jersey life

If I am doing something outdoorsy, 100% I am doing it in a trucker hat 😉

Been dropping hints to my friend that a custom STAS hat for my birthday next month would be very nice. Doing some tours on a girls trip this weekend so I will be breaking in the 2 stas hats I recently got.

Rambo is supposedly the steepest ski run in the US. Stats claim 55 degrees top to bottom and the run is 300 yards long. -

Fair enough, guess I will just have to wait then. But as far as the EX ratings go, I am sure a run like Peel would scare the shit out of someone like me. -

Yeah, new management company bought out my old one. The guy is super nice but I think he is still figuring things out. So far I have not been impressed with his snow removal. -
Didn’t pay attention to weather yesterday. I knew it was going to snow but I think they underestimated. Nothing is plowed. Officially we got 7”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like 8-16” in Crested Butte thru tomorrow night. Hope your drive isn’t too bad. Driving home yesterday I didn’t see asphalt the first 2 hours and Monarch Pass was white knuckle conditions. Husband was very pleased I was home to take over dog walking duty since it was -5 this morning. -

I am so glad you guys had such a good day, but sad we were not there to hear the first hand account! Skied this morning and go some GoPro footage that turned out not so great. Yesterday I had the camera angled too low, and today I think it was angled too high. Whatever, I made a crappy video to put on my FB but it’s not quality to put here, especially after the Silverton video. Huge huge thank you to Jeff for letting us stay at the villa. The location right on the mountain was amazing! Tom and Steve were hysterical and had our cheeks hurting from laughing so much. I am back in CB now, onto Boulder tomorrow. Hope to see more of you guys in Colorado next year.- 453 replies

@GrilledSteezeSandwich yes, I weaseled my way into a spot. Trying to wait for a bit more visibility before I head out. -
