Boulder is level orange, level red is lockdown. Now they decided to make level red stricter restrictions and add purple as the new lockdown level. We start level red restrictions Friday, but they are not even updated on state’s website. Article in the paper just says indoor dining is done but really does not give any other guidance. Meanwhile I joined a newly formed FB skiing group and the ladies are all talking about carpooling? Seriously?

I don’t know wtf is going on in NJ but every time I see old friends posting pictures nobody is wearing masks. HS sports, kids are in arm as well as parents, people getting haircuts and nobody inside wearing masks.

Yeah there are a few places opened but with reservations and it being a weekend it’s gonna be tough. I know my son is in hospital until at least Monday now so tomorrow was a lock that I could go play.

Lack of snow and all the other bullshit is annoying. A few of my friends were trying to get out for some beacon practice and just a light day out to shake out the legs. I let his dad visit him today as he is only allowed one visitor per day. He is out of ICU now and joking with the nurses. Our school district just announced they will be 100% remote learning until at least January. They said they can no longer handle schools on an individual basis. They were really trying to keep k-2 in person as studies have shown that age bracket does the worst with remote learning. My son’s lung collapsed again and he had the surgery to fuse it to his chest wall yesterday and is now in ICU. Now I am just really concerned about COVID for him. I have been careful myself, but now I feel I should up my game even more since he is in my bubble.

Helmet with the ear straps (face palm!). I wasn’t even thinking about that. I had seen rumors that some ski places want a real mask and not just a buff. So yeah, with the helmet thing not sure how that will work.

Ah shit, now I am panicked. Had a lot going on this week so I guess I have been asleep at the wheel. edit: ok I just went on Epic and made reservations for the first 2 weekends I will be in CB (4 days total). Took less then 1 minute. Whew.

I wasn’t waiting in line for the 8 am reservations going live time. I guess since Keystone is the only game in town close to the front range (wolf creek is a drive) people want to get out and ski. For outdoor dog walks and hikes I wear a buff and pull it up if needed. I got the OR mask for yoga classes and the gym. And also for ski season, wanted a real mask to wear on the lift other then just a buff

From what I read they say Summit rise in cases is due to locals so socializing too much. Not due to tourists etc. right now just asking people to be better about social distancing. Winter Park just moved back then opening from 11/18 to 11/30. There is really no snow and temps are warm so probably mostly due to that. But also they say for health reasons and due to recent large fires in Grand County.

I got the attachment which is a toilet seat that fits on existing toilet. Mine is super fancy and has a dryer. I use small amount of TP (just to make sure). I will say they do leave you feeling very clean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
