I have no problem with masks in stores but Boulder county requires masks outside too. I wear a buff and when someone passes on a tight trail I put it up. But when walking my dog around my neighborhood when I can easily cross the street it’s annoying. Like the other day when a masked women was on the other side of the street she yelled at me for not pulling up my buff when I passed her....ACROSS THE STREET. Some people just like to argue I think. Se e lots of people alone in their cars with masks and walking down an empty street with a mask, kind of overkill.

Abasin’s reservation system crashed. Had a feeling that would happen. People going nuts on FB bitching, I mean just be happy they are reopening. 600 reservations able to be taken per day and only 30 of those are non-Pass holder tickets to purchase. It is pretty cool of them to reopen since they will be making zero money on passholders.

Yeah, snowpack here going fast. We have had a lot of 80’s low 90’s days here already. I am really out of ski mindset but would also kind of like to get one more downhill day in so I don’t end my season on a concussion.

Abasin reopening on Wednesday. There will be a reservation system and they will sell a limited number of spots and no tailgating. I am going to see how it plays out and might possibly try to get a reservation after a few weeks when things die down.

I think it’s pretty fair. Basically says they will give 20% credit towards next year’s pass. If you have used your pass less than 5xs they will give you up to 80% credit. Plus free ‘insurance’ if something happens to shorten next year’s season.

I recently read Aspen said it would continue to groom all 4 resorts through May for uphill access, which is pretty cool.

So our governor outlined new policies that allow things to begin opening 4/27-5/1. Nothing is clear in what he outlined. Now Denver just extended its stay at home order to 5/8. Boulder has not issued any new updates on its website. It is frustrating, really want my freaking haircut.

Like where your head is at for Telluride! My friend and I had been talking about hiking in Switzerland fall of 2021. So, if all works out, we will go and do our hiking, then Gary can meet us there and I can do the motorcycle part of the trip with him.

Germany officially cancelled Oktoberfest this year. Gonna cancel our Europe trip, so bummed. One of the hotels in Switzerland says no refunds, hopefully they will make an exception.

I will be happy when the whole “Go outside and scream at 8pm” thing his over. I just asked my husband if he thought that if I went outside and yelled STFU, would other people yell STFU back to me? (If you have kids and are doing this, you get a pass, otherwise StFU)

Polis had a news conference and just announced 4/27 some things would be allowed to reopen. Hair salons is among them!!! I immediately texted my hairdresser and she said the earliest she could do was May 6th. Guess everyone else has been preemptively making appointments. Some progress, PT identified a large trigger point nodule at the base of my skull, pressing on my occipital nerve. We are trying to loosen it up, headache a bit better since she worked on it. Gonna see her twice a week until it is resolved. Bodies are amazing in their ability to self protect, guess I tensed up so bad to brace for impact I gave myself this other issue.

My neighbor took these pics of 2 large cats roaming around around the corner from my house. Pic was taken about an hour after I walked home this way from skiing in the park.
