That price has to be on top of the season pass or else its way too cheap. JFBB race program is $900 if you buy in the early season. This includes an all access season pass.

Timeless, keep posting in this thread when you make your decision. My son also soon to be 11 (next week), also riding 128's needs a new pair. After 2 seasons riding them for the race team they are beat to hell. Not sure what to get him since we will now be riding out west.

What stays open later than Loveland? I thought they were pretty much the last to close, kind of like Big Boulder

Thanks for taking the time to post this. I'd much rather read this than a flame war.

Going to Colorado April 16-25th. As long as this cortizone shot I got today starts working, my season is not over.

That website is hysterical, thanks for the laugh.

My brother was seriously injured several years ago in his first season of learning how to snowboard. I was not with him on the trail, I was with the boys. I heard my name being called to come to the first aid station. To this day, he still does not remember how he fell or what happened. He kept the helmet, its totally cracked in the front. He was airlifted to Lehigh (I think) and stayed there for about a week. His eyes were both black and blue and he looked completely nasty. If he wasn't wearing a helmet, I'd say he would be dead or a vegetable. I never ride without my helmet and neither do my kids.

Pics are beautiful! I love seeing those deep blue skies. I can't wait to move there...3 months and counting.

See, now this is a classic example of why mods should be allowed to get rep'd.

I win....185 miles. So really I lose.

Isn't business always dead?

Great report Dan! Hopefully I'll see you guys up there next weekend. Didn't hear anything about a season pass holder party yet. Did you?
-
Highly reommend JFBB. Everything Dan said. If you get there at 8 on a weekend you have the place to yourself until at least 1030, especially on East Mtn.
-
Nice pics. Kids look like they are having fun.

Another vote for Jack Frost. On a Tuesday you will have the whole place to yourself. The blues on the west side of the mountain are pretty tame. Lukoil has coupons for jack frost also. If you really want to see them progress, put them in the race program next season. They take the 5 year olds down east mountain. They don't have great form but its awesome that they are doing it.

The pics Sib posts always look beautiful to me.

Saw you on East mtn Dan. We were out of sync so couldn't catch you. I was anxious to hear about CO. Maybe I'll catch you tomorrow.
-
Looks so empty, lucky. Best part is what you don't hear....the scraping of East Coast ice.

I say 9 am top of Exhibition.

Nice scenery. I like the one with the lake in the backround.

Guess I'll be the only girl then.

All I can say is wow! Left Boulder about 740 and it took me almost 2hrs to get here with morning work traffic and some snow from yesterday. There has to be a better rout and maybe the Co pasrs can chime in because taking 6 west sucks to get to 70. On to the snow.. Did 5 or 6 runs off the blues from chair 1, then decided to try chair 2. What a long cold windy ride chair 2 is. Made my way into the bowl (not sure what its called). About 1/3 into the bowl I was in solid powder. I couldn't see my board and it wasn't making a sound. It was by far the best thing I have ever experienced on a snowboard. The powder didn't last all the way down. And I don't know how I missed the reload for chair 2 but ended up at the bottom and had to ride all the way up again. Taking a lunch break now and will probably have to drive back since a servpro guy is coming to do more work on my damaged basement @230. This was an awesome day!
