ok just to clarify, you have to be there this Saturday to get the ticket. It's not something I can mail to you to use in the future. JFBB freebies work like this: they scan my pass, give me the freebie that's dated THAT DAY. So if you can make it to JF this Saturday, let me know.
-
Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Oh well it was a good deal while it lasted and 2 free passes is still better than nothing. Anyway 1 freebie gone, 3 left.
-
I don't think they transfer. Plus we get 12 freebies every year (3 season passes bought early x 4 freebies per pass). We always have plenty so I don't mind sharing the love.
-
So I have 4 freebies left on our season passes. If anyone interested we will be up at Frost about 8 on Sat (March 13th). First 4 people to respond or PM takes them. Oh and they are to use, not to sell. Don't be a dick.

Love the pictures, Jeff.

They do take race kids down elevator. My son's group went down several times today, awesome!

Thanks for the report I was wondering what was happening with the bumps

Beautiful day here at frost! Snowing pretty hard this morning but now the sun is shining and hardly any wind. After a few warm up runs down exhibition I went over to T-bolt. Top section had no bumps so as I am going full speed over the first headwall, I am surprised by bumps. AlMost took a header. I went down thunderbolt a bunch of times but I can't gewt the hand of the bumps. Guess they are not for me. My son who is in the race program comes in for lunch and proudly tells me they did the elevator and "it was awesome". Even his older brother was impressed since he has yet to try it. He said they are going on. Risk It in the pm session. And he won a bronze in the race last week but we bailed before they announced the winners. His coach gave him the medal and he's wearing it under his jacket "for luck" in his race today. He is one happy kid today. JADIP!

Wow, didn't see those two jump off the lift. You guys have balls. Fun day meeting some more pasr's. Not sure what happened to Heather (JFskimom). I thought she was right behind me, sorry Heather. I have to learn how to ride better in ungroomed snow. Definitely off my game today. Awesome that JFBB put a banner up! I went in the bar around 2pm but didn't see anyone. Oh well, would have been the only girl there anyway.

Nice first report. Your lucky you got a nice midweek day in. I have yet to ride midweek this season.
-
Me too. They just started warming up the second lift on East mtn around 10:30. All asses and elbows in the lift line, that was enough for me.
-
I'll add a category to ypur title...trench coat. Anyone see this guy on east mt today, what a sight. Oh and frost was great today. Been off the snow for 3 weeks due to back/hip issues and only did half day today so I wouldn't push it. Sun shining bright, soft snow, not too busy this morning. I brought my dinosuar video camera to tape the boys but didn't get much footage. I couldn't really even see what I was taping with the sun glare. If someone wanted to make a few bucks I'd pay them to get some good footage of my kids and put together a cool little video. Seriously.

We're giving a chance for the roads to clear a bit then heading up this afternoon. Kids have had off from school all week. Shif will you be up tomorow? It would be nice to meet you.
-
I actually just saw on channel 6 that they are calling in the national guard to monitor the on ramps and make sure no one rides those roads.

Town of Avalon is officially shut down. Hubby got called to sit vigil in the firehouse in the wee morning hours. Most of the town has no electric. In my neighborhood power lines are underground so I'm lucky enough to still have heat. We'll see how long it lasts. Got at least 10 inches, tough to tell exactly because of all the wind. But its heavy wet snow, could hardly open my back door to let the pooches out, they did their business 6 inches from the door and said screw this let me back in.

Love that picture and your reports.

Got out on the snow about 8:15 and ran into JFSKIDAN. He was headed over to East mt. I did some warm up runs on exhibition...frozen crud. Moved over to thunderbolt which was a little better. I never went over to east and just hung around thunderbolt and challenge. Place was pretty empty until ab out 1030 but even after that lift lines not more than a few minutes. Went out after lunch and only took 3 runs in the pouring rain. Ski team was setting up a race on challenge and I was hanging out waiting to watch Stephen. Snow was heavy and I was soaked so I just went in the lodge. Gotta hang out till 2:30 until he's done. Man I'm bored and I forgot my book. I'm sure conditions could not be helped because of the warm up we had but overall I've ridden better days at JFBB. Kids want to tube tomorrow so not sure what I'm doing

First time I went to boulder this season. Kids had off of school today and we got up here around 1. Had some lunch unpacked and decided to wait till bb opened. Got there about 2:45 and waited I. Guesat services 20 minutes to have our passes scanned. That was kind of annoying. Anyway not crowded at all. Boulder park trail has some impressive looking jumps. Didn't see anyone really hitting them full force. The kids lapped tanenbaum park? For a while and love park. Since I don't do any park stuff I stuck to mitl weg and draufauger. Both had nice snow. Then met up with the kids and we did some runs down snowdrift and bunnys elbow. Called it a night around 5:30. Looking forward to frost tomorrow

I love your pictures, Jeff. I really don't think I've ever seen a sky that blue (especially not in Jersey).
-
I'll be there with the kids. Stephen will be in race team practice though. David and I on snowboards. He has black jacket, tan pants. I have brown pants light blue jacket.

jfbb website has "phillycore pasr pics" on their media page, awesome!

Sounds like you had a great first day. 3.5 hours is what my ski commute is, but it sounds like your destination is much better than mine. Looking forward to the pictures.

Wow, what a great day at frost. Temp about 18 deg when we arrived @8am. One park was nice. Some chunks at the bottom of demattes/exhibition. They tried to smooth some of them out. Thunderbolt and challenge were also nice, no icy spots to speak of. They put a bench at the top of one park. I never felt so lazy as I did sitting down to strap in, was nice. Roads in Jersey are still pretty bad from what I hear so we are blowing off school tomorrow and staying over. Should be empty at frost tomorrow. I wore my mouse trap lanes t shirt hoping to mmet a fellow pasr at lunch but no such luck.

We're in again. Great conditions Sat.Mostly stuck around One park, exhibition and challenge. All groomed great and nice coverage. Place was pretty empty, I think the philly area snow kept most people away. Great first day for me.
