I want to find out more about the freestyle program there. I have called twice and emailed and no one seems to have any info except to say that it does exist and its kind of like the race team.

I don't want it to be all park because I don't like JF. I'm sure it will though.

the environmentalists in Jersey suck. We had plans to expand the bowling center. 8 more lanes and a 9 hole indoor mini golf course, bigger party room etc. We couldn't get it approved. We are not in a residential area, nothing around but woods.

my season is over. My knee is still bothering me from Vermont last weekend and I have been taking way too many weekends off of work.

We didn't stay long enough for the pond skim. I wish we could because my cousins get really into it and all of their kids had great outfits to wear. And I am definitely not bashing BB. I have not gone to too many other resorts. Stratton had several 6 pack lifts and 90 trails (compared to BB's 14). To me the place was huge. I am hoping to go to BB this weekend. I've been playing hookey from work a lot on the weekends lately, so we'll see.

Just got back from a long weekend at Stratton. It was awesome. They got about 12-14 inches of snow over the weekend. The sunbowl side of the mountain was closed but American Express 6 pack lift and the gondola right next to it were opened. We did the 4 or 5 blue trails off the amex lift. Too lazy right now to dig my trail map out of all my shit. The trails there are so wide. Hardly anyone there for how good conditions were. Didn't do the gondola to the top, kind of kinked out my knee (which sucked). Stayed with my cousins who totally hooked us up. One of their friends let us use their condo, instead of all squeezing into my cousin's condo. She gave me discount vouchers for lift tickets, so David and I got our tickets for $10 a piece each day (Stephen was still free, under 7). Made it back to south jersey in 6 hours and 10 minutes which wasn't bad. Rented a season of the Simpsons for the kids to watch. Luckiily it kept them quiet and they didn't fight the whole way home. I have to say after going to Stratton it's gonna be hard to go back to Bb next season.

I wish I stayed for the crash. I had some good falls too that day, sexkitten was nice to wait for me.

In Doug fashion.... Arrived at the parking lot at 8:35am 41 degrees. Quickly met up with sexkitten and boblikescats. Sexkitten was sporting the gaper gear. Then met Doug, Atomic Jeff, Bigdaddyk, toast, Zonked and others. Don't remember everyone's name. Sexkitten and I rode paradise, lazy mile and switchback. The boys opted for the faster trails. The snow was pretty mushy, but still fun. The trails are so much longer than at boulder. My legs were burning. Doug was passing out beer like it was his job in the parking lot and doing shots. I made him wear my homemade tutu when I left. He looked so pretty in it. It was great to meet everyone, I will definitely go to Blue again next season.

not me, I am not the skull wearing type. oh yeah...if I go to blue, someone has to take a few runs on the easier trails with me. I am no where near ready for the blacks.

Sno seems far for some reason. Anyway I just got a last minute invite to my cousins place at Stratton for Easter weekend. So now, I won't have the kids this weekend. I still have to drive up and pick up all of our gear. Maybe I'll hit blue on my way home Sunday. I guess I would have to get there around 7am to see any pasr's.

Website makes it seem like its all park now. Anyone know if there will be at least one trail left just to ride? Obviously I am not going to be doing any rails and don't want to get attitude from all the park riders for just "riding" through the park. We might have to drive to Blue.

I think I saw you at BB, around 3:30 on the tananbaum lift? Were you about 5 chairs in front of me maybe?

ski tell me if you are ever at bb. I have a 6 year old who bombs it down the trail. They would get along great. The last time we were there he kept charging up the outer wall of the halfpipe. Then he told me to try (it looked easy enough). I fell right on my back. Even the liftie made fun of me, he said "I see your mom rolled her way down the hill"
