im sorry im still missing the part where they have snow on the ground. tannserville never went below 33 degress and humidity kept on climbing through the night.i went on camelbacks website and the webcam is conveniently turned away from where they were "blowing snow",and their were no pictures of the snow.
no their not going to blow tonight its 31 degrees and supposed to be getting warmer as the night goes on not to mention fact that the humidity is 68% so it realy needs to be like 27 or 28 degrees to blow snow.
well since it is camelback i think well see them blow out the mice tonight maybe all weekend than wait a week to see the temps rise then wait agian until the real blowing begins in mid december just in time to have west side open for full price christmas tickets even though only half the mountian will be open till 2nd week in jan...
i wax my board after 1 or 2 days on the mountian and it seems to keep the base in excelent condition, i also sharpen my base and side edge befor the season starts. then sharpen the side edge every 2 or 3 weeks.
maybe its just me that thinks this but it is kinda hard to ruin camelback with the whole close half the mountian on week days when season pass holders are their thing
i dont think it will make that big of an impact. incase you didnt already notice their is a hotell about 600 yards from cb already.
the worst i see happening everyone from that hotell goes to the cb one and a few more people go to the old hotel. i think it will realy only be noticable on holidays and thats when i try not to go
nf lift was only a short wait but their were too many corpses on the blacks to make going fast worth while. i ened up just taking lapes on the long haul and hitting the glades
i was their 9 am today and only bout 2-3 inches of powder with a nice base of ice and extra hard pack. only why they could get 12 inches is if the snow drifted.
