R2 i couldn't finish reading your post because it was to tiring on my eyes to keep going down a line every sentence, but what i did get from it was that you call absolutely everything ice. which is worst the identification of snow conditions i have ever heard. what you are calling ice is probably hard pack, and you just need to learn how to snowboard.

Stop calling it a BIG MOUNTAIN it isn't, and never will be, and if it truly was solid ice than their is no way you would be cutting 1 inch ribbons into the snow unless it was with a chisel.

How can you have "blue ice" when it is above freezing, and I heard from a reliable source that conditions were excellent on Thursday night.

I had a good day at blue, I showed up at the lower parking lot at 9am went in to buy my ticket and some guy offered me a comp pass for $25 bucks. I rode until about 11am and went home for a long lunch break and returned at 4pm and rode agian until 6pm. conditions were decent, and the crowds weren't to bad.

I am going to be riding friday evening, but if anyone else is going to be their for a morning or afternoon session and wants to meet let me know.
