  1. for what it's worth, i understand that Neptune prefers making half pipes without digging dirt. i was told by Sno mgmt last year when they were blowing all the snow for the 22' pipe that Neptune liked having the flexibility of "moving" the pipe as they cut it and not being limited by the dirt hole.

  13. Elk knew going in that their last 2 Winterfest dates wouldn't have demos. The February 1st date was the last day of the SIA Vegas show. I know we sold tickets to that date and clearly advertised that there would be NO demos. The February 29th date was the last day of the Edison, NJ show. If all the reps are tied up at shows then they can't be at Elk doing demos. The only demos left in the region are Shop Employee only demos. If you really want to try next year's gear head to a demo center up north or wait until next December.

  20. Just be careful! Most resorts can invalidate the tickets if they find out they were re-sold. Anytime they give tickets/vouchers to ski clubs or other organizations as donations they clearly state that if they are sold they are void. since you didn't pay for them, why not spread the love and simply give them to someone or just let them expire.
  21. Ok, just found out from Atomic that Ian went off on his own and booked a trip to the Nippon Open without telling Atomic. That said, they have booked Tim Durtschi instead. Tim had the opening segment of Poor Boyz movie this year plus a segment in Rage Films. for you boarders we also just confirmed David Audbry courtesy of Oakley. as we get closer to the event we are still working to finalize Pros. stay tuned!

  23. I was there this morning until about Noon and.... snow conditions were ok. typical sugar snow. if they get another night of blowing and grooming they will be good. It's just the curse of rain, cold temps then warm temps and a lot of people using the slopes. Don't get me wrong, they were in good shape overall. Just not ideal but who is at this point? BUT it was crazy crowded. The line to get into the rental shop was taking 2 hours. They had to extend the 4 hour lift ticket because everyone was spending 1/2 there ticket standing in line for rentals. The lift ticket line didn't really start to clear out until 11am and was probably taking 30-40mins to get a lift ticket. They were parking in the very first parking lots as you come in (the gravel ones) by about 10am. Amazingly the lift lines weren't that long (probably because everyone was standing in line to get rentals and lift tickets) but were on the increase. Get there early, park close, stake out a table, make some runs, don't eat during the peak times, wander into the bar and relax!
