So is that why a Sno representative offered a JFBB snowmaker "a dollar more than you make no matter what it is" because they "don't have anyone to run the equipment"? Best snowmaking crew? Hardly. Even the SMI rep told me that Sno has nobody who knows what to do.

There is something in the works that will majorly trump that gay bus at Blue. It will be next season before it can be set-up and moved into place.....but it's gonna be the sickest thing you've ever seen. Hands down.

That hunk of junk was takin' to the graveyard. It now sits amongst a huge pile of other worthless crap. Don't expect to see it again.

Jordan, how is Peak 'taking this resort backwards in ways of terrain'? You can still ski Risk It if you want. You can still hit Little Cliff Huck if you want. Just because it is not listed as an official trail does that mean it is gone? JFBB has an open terrain policy. If you wanna ski on it then feel free. Peak is actually improving the terrain by removing trees and debris so that more tree skiing is available. A major removal project is planned for this summer to drastically increase the glades. Also, the ungroomed trails with heavy bumps is an attempt to improve the terrain. This adds an extra element to what JF has to offer. Now there is something for everyone at JFBB. I'll bet you $1000 that BB is open into April. Obviously it will not have 100% of the trails open, but it will have enough fun stuff to make the time worth it for the mountain and for the riders.

Thunderbolt and Floyd's are being left ungroomed so the moguls can build up. The bumps on T-Bolt are sick. I happen to like rollercoasters. Quit being such a sissy and just ski/ride it.

At JF they are removing certain trails from the trail map all together as well. I mean come on, Little Cliff Huck is not really a trail. It's coming off the map. Plus one or two others.

Geeeeez. You a-holes are impossible to please. Sorry if I wasn't technical enough...there's new snow on all the open trails. I was told they are attempting to get new trails open...which is why I said 'possibly' in my first post. I was assured that if they don't have new trails tomorrow then they will be ready on Friday. You people seem to have forgotten that it was 45, rainy, and foggy ALL weekend. Two nights of cold weather isn't enough for anyone to rebuild what was lost AND get new trails open. Patience is a virtue my friends. And for the record.....I was there all damn day ya friggin' assclowns.

bbq was on the right track with the electricity idea. During the working part of the day, 8 to 5, the cost of electricity sky rockets. With the correct temperatures and all that JFBB will fire the snow guns up everyday at 5:01 PM. The cost of electricity is much less at night and weekends.

Hey everyone. Jack Frost is effin sick today. Tons of new snow everywhere! The whole mountain is in amazing shape. They are possibly opening new trails tomorrow. Look for me at the top of Thunderbolt tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM sharp. Thank God! Winter is finally here!

I saw someone pull a sick frontside 1080 on the big jump at the bottom of Boulder Park. Smooth landing and all. Even that smartass dude in the Red Bull truck had to compliment it. There were definetely some people throwing it down.

Well if certain season pass holders didn't let all their friends and neighbors borrow the season pass all the time, then there would be no need for pass validation. When one person in a family buys a pass and then lets all his brothers use it when they want to go out then a problem is created. Thus, they now have pass validation. It just makes good business sense. As for the employees.....from all info I have gathered the vast majority of employees, old and new, like the new management and what they are trying to accomplish. The ones who had been there a long time but got treated poorly were treated as such because they were bad employees. Just because you work somewhere for X amount of years doesn''t mean you are entitled to anything. If you aren't pulling your weight or meeting the expectations of the job then good riddance to you. That also makes good business sense.

Your other half.....the one you always ran around JFBB with. You know. You guys worked together...got fired together. And I just heard that you two were thinking of going to Sno to work instead. Sorry, maybe I was misinformed. But come on, you worked at JFBB. You should know how nothing is a secret.

Everyone including Syd needs to shut the hell up about snowmaking. It's 30.2 degrees right now and ALL the guns are making fantastic snow. Quit bashing on SMIs. No pissing water here folks. Just nice fluffy snow. I go outside for five minutes and get covered in the white stuff fallin' from above. Hate all you want, but they are making snow. Not just wasting water as you guys seem to think. Hey Syd...how's that job at No-Sno Mountain working out for you and your other half?

Well everyone who has been at JFBB please remind the trashtalkers that the slopes at JFBB are open side to side.....so how can anyone say the trails are narrow? I'll give you East Mountain as the only thing that could possibly be called narrow. Challenge, ONE Park, Easystyle, Jane's Lane, Powder Puff, Frosty, Snowflake.....all side to side. And yes, Yumz and Syd are two disgruntled ex-employees who are cowards so they go on a message board and spread negative vibes. Whoever fired them must have realized they are a cancer to the staff of JFBB. Keep the snow reports coming! For those of us who enjoy talking about the good things going on at JFBB and all the local mountains it's about makin' some turns and hittin' some jumps. See you all at Frost today if you are out!

Hey smartguys. There are only about 4 SMIs on East Mountain. They have to use omicrons for the majority of East Mtn. If YummerzZz actually worked there he would know that.
